s/o heels - How do you walk in these things? PIP

OP, wedges are usually easier to walk in but I typically keep my weight in my heels. So I walk almost heel first but "dig" in with the balls of my feet when I land. If that makes sense.

Kid you not, I just saw a pair like these when we went to dinner Saturday night. I think they were a white or pale bone color, with another material of the same color studded into the back of the sole to give it interest (like I wasn't gawking enough??). The woman seemed to be walking with the aid of her date's hand on her elbow.

Maybe they are weighted a certain way? I can't walk in regular heels, so heel-less heels would be impossible. Or the same.
