G has gotten insane about waking up every hour and wanting to comfort nurse in the last month. I'm at the breaking point.
So, I started refusing to nurse her anytime she woke up before midnight. I feel like the meanist mom on the planet with she hysterically cries while signing milk and screaming mom. It's like time stops and 20 minutes feels like an hour. She's going back to sleep faster each time, but she is still waking up. She won't let me hold her at all until she is ready to give up and sleep.
Tell me it gets better. Please, even if you are lying...

Sorry CIO is the worst. I hope she transitions soon.
We aren't really doing traditional CIO. When she wakes up, she wants to nurse and when I say no she cries (and cries, and cries). We lay on my bed until she settles down and the back into her crib to sleep.
Last night, she actually put her pacifer in for the first time in months and just wimpered a little while we cuddled. Hopefully we have turned the corner.

I see she is about 19 months old, which is PLENTY old to tell her no in the middle of the night. She has the capability to sttn ... it's just habit that has her waking up at this point.
It sucks for a little bit, but once she sttn, you both will be a LOT happier. Stick to your guns mama, because it's only going to get harder from here.
