Buying online gives you a lot of options. You can order things in more than one size and then return them to a B&M store without having to pay return shipping. I do this often.
Well, yeah, but she has bought and returned 7 dresses. At some point, you give up and go to the store and see what they actually look like on you. At least that is what I would do.
Yes, you're right. The method I mentioned works better when you have an idea of what styles look good on you/what size you wear.

Yes I know she wanted to scar her kid and tell him at 3 that baby Jesus buys all his gifts. All of her posts on different screen names are annoying and I can't keep track of how many she has now.
This bitch is lucky I have a pain pump and I'm not in pain at the moment.
Evee- go shop at your local Adult toy store, they have tight skanky stuff you are looking for I'm sure of it. What would Kirk Cameron do?
SERIOUSLY? i posted THREE fucking pretty, nice, APPROPRIATE dresses for a holiday party, and you immediately shot them down b/c your H didn't like a dress that was similar a few weeks ago. But you keep tying on/buying/posting dresses that all have the exact same issue... too tight, too short.
You are wasting your time, and our time posting these damn dresses. So either keep one, and wear it, even though it's not really work or age appropriate, OR, get a different style of dress, and ask us about that one.
Thanks for nothing? Because I said something sensible like taking in an old dress? I've done it, cost me $13 to have taken in.
Hope Santa leaves you coal in your stocking.
It was totally unnecessary for you to insult me by saying I'm buying dresses in the Jr's department. Obviously this is really difficult and frustrating to me. Your comments weren't helpful in the least bit and are really just upseting more.
Well, in her defense, it wasn't obvious that you weren't shopping in the Jr's department. I'm pretty sure most people here made the assumption that's where you were shopping.

She won't buy online. Online buying doesn't allow her to be a post whore and to show off herself in teeny tiny dresses so everyone can tell her what an awesome body she has.
Buying a dress is NOT this hard. She's doing it on purpose. I voted the potato sack, it matches her personality. Bland and itchy.

What about this one. I didn't buy it, but hopefully it will be there tomorrow. It's a bit big but I guess I can have it taken in
I don't hate it, but I really think you could do better. You need to focus on finding dresses that have a more substantial material and more structure - like the ones sakelp posted. They are much more universally flattering and classy. They will show off your waistline and curves without being too fitted.
ETA: if you go back and they have this one, get it and do not get it taken in.

This is just cruel and I really am trying. And now I'm crying out of frustration. I'm not wanting attention. I'm wanting help. I like some of the dresses on here. I just havent had a chance to tell anyone that.

Its whatever. I give up now.
It's the internet, it's full of mean people. Grow a spine if you want to play on it.
The black dress looks perfect, I'm not going to lie on that one. But it doesn't need to be taken in. Buy that one, ignore any comments from your husband that aren't in your favor. Go to your party and have fun. End of story.

No. You've only had time to tell people how unhelpful they are being.
You have 3 posts now of dresses that don't work. The first post, people were really nice and didn't say the dresses were extremely too tight. The 2nd post, a little less tolerance, 3rd post, even more so. You know why? Because everyone is giving you great advice, you're not taking it, and you're not even saying thank you for the advice you're given.

oh evee, you could have told someone you liked the dresses in ANY of the posts where you have been defending your previous choices, or saying you were offended... you just chose not to...
I don't think she's being an AW. I think that's a rather harsh assessment. Some people are very fashion challenged and some people get rather caught up in small decisions. I know I do.
