We are thinking about doing a cruise out of NYC in September that goes to a few cities in British Columbia (I think). We would take a few days before the cruise to see a little of NYC. Is that a good or bad time of year to visit? We won't be doing any memorials but would probably try for some of the other touristy stuff that would be appropriate with DD.
ETA: Cruise actually goes to St. John and Halifax. I was wayyy off on my geography

Awesome! I would really love to see some of NYC.
It also looks like the place the cruise goes too (Halifax & St. John) has pretty mild weather. That was the cheapest time so I wasn't sure what the catch was.

Hurricane season?
But for the most part, September in NY is still nice and warm, but without the humidity of the summer months.
