I don't have any links, but I always have randoms, and have a couple of questions.... so here it goes!
randoms: All that ever sounds good to eat is French Toast. But you can't just eat french toast for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. It's too many carbs.
Also, I was showering last night, and realized that my feet and ankles were very swollen for the first time this pregnancy. I have freaking cankles. This does not make me happy.
Question: Who is not finding out what their baby's sex is? And if you are in this group, what are you planning for the nursery? Everything seems so gender specific, like all the sets in stores and stuff... Just wondering what everyone was thinking!!
I had my first doctor's appointment on Monday, but I didn't get an ultrasound. I'm 8 weeks, and I don't have any symptoms. My boobs aren't even sore anymore. I know that people don't always have symptoms, but I really wish I could shake this feeling that it isn't our time to have a baby.
We're finding out what we're having, but I want to keep the nursery neutral, so we can use it for future babies. We'll probably go with grey with pops of blue and yellow.

WHY is my m/s getting worse?!! :-( I can't take it anymore!
As of right now we don't plan on finding out. Everyone is begging us to find out. We plan to have a neutral color nursery with pops of color throughout.
I keep thinking that it would be better to not go with a girl themed room but more neutral, but I am getting sheets made really cheap and am not buying the whole comforter set etc. so why not paint the walls yellow with a purple accent wall! Plus, DH doesn't absolutely mind painting and wants to do it (or so he claims)
We have a 3 bedroom house, and one bedroom was already painted like a light bluish gray color, but it was the one with the walk-in closet, which we preferred to have for a girl, so we kept it as a guest room, and painted the other room which was still white, a bright teal on 2 walls.
We are having a dog themed nursery, which was the plan either way, but I thought it would be easier if it was a boy. NOPE, there is just not that much cute dog themed nursery stuff. So I'm having to order a lot from etsy, and make a lot myself, or have my mom make it.
I haven't given it too much thought yet, but I think I'd like an alphabet kind of theme for a nursery. But that's subject to change once we find out what we're having.
My nausea seems like it gets worse by the day. Anyone have any good remedies!?

Umm, there were a couple of times during my first trimester where I had my DH make my pasta and rice for dinner. And right now French Toast sounds delish.
We did not find out and everytime I walked into a store I was like damn we should have found out. Just about everything is gender specific. We really only have BRU around here and I also found everything to be soo busy and juvenile. I realize it's for a kids room, but when I think nursery, I think soothing, spa like design. BRU thinks every splash of color + animals + numbers + letters. Room is painted a sage green, area rug is green with big white polka dots. My mother made cribskirt and curtain from white fabric with sage green polka dots. Wall decor will come after birth...
We are not finding out this time. I am really excited about this.
We are also not planning to do anything at all with the nursery since we aren't finding out. We know that DC will be sleeping in our room for at least 2 months. I think it's different the second time around.

Alphabet would be SO SO SO cute. I am a teacher, and we do tons with the alphabet in my class, and I didn't want to cross that over to the nursery, but that was one of my first thoughts when thinking of nursery themes.
We're finding out the sex but we won't set up a nursery until the baby is like 4 months at least because we don't have the room right now and we want to buy a bigger place. I don't like gender specific nurseries much. I like gray and owls.
I want to post nursery pictures, but it isn't quite finished yet, so I've been putting it off. Hopefully this weekend I can get everything done, and then take pictures to put on here!
We will probably find out, but I think I want to do grey and yellow either way. Our glider has grey fabric on it (white wood base) and we have all white nursery furniture. I probably won't worry about it for awhile though...Baby will sleep in our room for 12 weeks just like Max did.
Also, I'd like Max to be a little older before I move him to his "big boy" room, which is currently DH's office. Just a lot of work to do before I could even start on decorating. I'm too tired to deal with it!
Also, all of our furniture for that room is espresso. The crib converts all the way up to a twin bed, and we bought a dresser that matches. Next time, I will get white nursery furniture. so much easier to match pieces that aren't in a set!
I know we're finding out but I have no idea what I'll do as far as colors and theme. I have this dresser I painted yellow ages ago and it was always way too bright but I never got around to repainting it. I think it might work perfectly in a nursery though.
We're having a boy, but I'm still going kind of neutral because I'm not a fan of themey rooms. I painted the room with gray and white stripes. We've ordered darker furniture, and I plan on doing orange as an accent color. I'm looking for sports themed decor that's not too over the top, but haven't found anything that I like yet. If my husband had it's way, it would look like rawhide exploded in the nursery ...
We're planning on finding out. One tentative nursery theme we've discussed is Super Mario Bros. (boy)/Mario and Princess Peach (girl)...friends of our did it for their son using wall decals they found on Amazon and it turned out great. At this point though the sky's the limit!

Our walls in our new house are already painted a light brown/beige color so we got white furniture and I have a turquoise bedspread on the daybed in that room, so we're doing turquoise with pops of other colors-like orange and brown accents as needed. No theme though. Just bright and fun.

this is the coolest thing ever. I want to have a Mario themed game room. My cat, named Mario, approves.
Which was a s/o of a 1tri thread. There are some real crazies on July 13.
Is it sad that I don't even have to click on the links to know what you're referring to? You're right, there are some serious BSC nutters on July 2013. I'm half convinced noraeuc isn't even real.
