Nope. I use it almost everyday. Did you shave before hand? I typically shave, put lotion on my feet, ankles, knees, elbows (any place the skin is thinner) and I get a great result. I also use the foam so it is easier to control.

I have never used it but have been curious. I'm sooo pale and I'm afraid the slightest inconsistency in shade will show more because of that. I might buy it, use it on a certain area for a few days and see what color it turns and how well it blends.

Get the light shade and dilute it down with a different lotion if you're worried about your paleness, then gradually stop diluting it.

Its such a small amount of color that I never got streaks. Plus if you miss a spot one day you're likely to catch it the next time so the overall effect is much more even than using a stronger self tanner.

I love that lotion. I use it in the summer a lot, to make myself even more tan than I already am. In the winter, I usually just accept the pale.
I do think it kind of smells gross- like self tanner- but for some reason, H LOVES the smell. every time I use it, he always tries to come up behind me and sniff my shoulder or something... lol

The foam is better than the lotion -- applies more evenly, dries more quickly, smells less chemical-y.

I'm really pale and even the fair skin formula is sometimes too dark for me. I usually mix it with regular lotion so I can gradually increase the amount of color. I think the extra moisturizer helps to distribute the color more evenly and makes it look more natural.

It smells a little blech but it isn't as bad as some I've used.

another vote for the foam. it works so much better and it doesn't smell anywhere near as bad.

I used to use it all the time. I actually went to the medium/dark shades after the light didn't do much for me (not saying you should do that, just saying I think the light should be fine. I'm pale but I'm not as fair as you). But the smell was horrid. Horrid. I don't use it anymore and haven't in a year or so. Maybe they've improved the smell since then.

I used to use it, I diluted it with another lotion to attenuate the smell and to make sure it isn't too much. I have a self-tanner phobia.
