I think Ikea used to have those. We had them in my college dorm, so I know they had to be cheap.
I do that too though. If you show me several options for things and ask which one I like best (without showing me prices), 9 times out of 10 I like the most expensive option. It's terrible!
Are you familiar with Wayfair? If not, stalk their website; they'll start giving you coupon codes. Also, sign up for Wayfair Rewards. Its free, and you earn a percentage back to spend on future purchases. Maybe these two things won't save you hundreds, but it'll add up overtime. Plus, these are originals with a lifetime warranty!
Ignore everything I said if you need more than 2--that would be a crazy amount to spend on stools.

those are adorable!! I bought barstools last year, and discovered they weren't that cheap also! I ended up spending $250 each, but was shocked that even Ikea stools were well over $100. I wish to death we had target here.
