And I totally realize this is probably a "duh" post
I sorta believed the "list prices" on flash sale sites, mainly because I haven't researched them closely or knew much about most of the brands.
The other day, Joss and Main had a chest for $255 (plus shipping). Not a bad price for a chest, right?
I recognized the piece, though, because I've been looking like mad for one and this particular one had been photographed with a set of vases on top that I actually own.
I went back to Pinterest where I had pinned it and low and behold it's only $239.75 on Amazon with free shipping.
Joss and Main was definitely not discounted in anyway...
I seriously love checking out flash sale sites but now I won't just assume it's a good price but instead, try and do a bit of research prior to buying. Which is hard to do when you get wrapped up in the limited quantity/limited time aspect
I totally know what you mean. I really take time to think about what I buy on these sorts of sites for this reason (and also another factor is the super slow shipping. I only buy stuff when i'm not in a rush to get it.)

I've purchased once from J & M (it was a great deal) and have been tempted to buy other things when the money is available, but I always make sure to research the item listed. I usually guilt myself out hitting the 'buy now' button even when it's a good deal.
