Crazy to paint garage doors in 50 degree temps?

I painted exterior doors a few weeks ago when we had a few days of above-freezing temps. The last coat probably only dried for 6-8 hours before it dropped again and it looks fine. I'd try it as long as it wasn't dropping right down to freezing again before your paint was dry.

ditto sjh! Do it early enough in the day as it warms up and you should be good to by the time it hits freezing again.

Where I come from if I waited for the temp to get above 50 degrees and stay, I couldn't paint anything like 7 months out of the year.
