DH and I are not TTC, but I wouldn't be disappointed to be pregnant. We are using the pull and pray method (his idea lol) and he didn't pull at a prime time in my cycle this past month. My period is due on December 3. I took a Target "early response" test this morning with FMU and got a faint thin blue line (DH saw it too). I took one of our tests at work this morning (after diet Mt Dew and water) and saw nothing. Our tests at work test as low as 25 mIU/ml but from some quick research on the web, I've seen that the early response test can be positive as low as 6.25 mIU/ml. Anyway, what I want to know is, I feel like I've heard about false positives with these blue dye tests...is that a possibility or am I knocked up?
Update: Got another faint positive last night, then started my period this morning I guess it was a CP.
I'm definitely going to test again tomorrow. Just wondering if the false positives with the blue dye tests is a "thing" or if I remembering that incorrectly.

I know a bunch of people who have gotten false positives on a blue dye test. I would just get a pink dye test and test first thing in the morning tomorrow.
I vote knocked up. It sounds like the line was blue and came up within the window. Both of my faint, thin blue lines turned into real babies. But you know all you can do at this point is wait and test again tomorrow. Congrats!

I've heard of false positives from the blue dye tests, but I bet you're so early that diluting your urine is the reason the second test was negative. My money is on knocked up!
I knew a teenage girl who got knocked up in high school because she followed the pull and pray method. So I will never ever have faith that it will work. Since I do know that pre sperm exists.
Also, if you tested after drinking a bunch of liquids, could your urine just have been diluted too much to detect? Especially if it's (apparently) very early?
One of my BFFs has a pull and pray baby. She and her husband used pull and pray effectively for years, then she got knocked up at 35 despite the fact that her H pulled out just as he always had. I think its one of those BC methods that works . . . until it doesn't.
We've used Pull & Pray for 14yrs & never had an oops with it. I'm not super duper fertile but obviously I can definitely get pg. We had one TTA baby but DH didn't pull, on CD 32 we thought we were well into a safe zone. I obviously had a freakishly late ovulation that month.
There are problems with blue dye tests but I think it's far more likely that you are pregnant. Tentative congrats, take a pink dye test in the morning!
