I'm trying to plan ahead, as we want to start decorating the nursery in the spring as we work on our home study. We have the quilt from this bedding set: , which has a ton of different colors in it (red, purple, yellow, green, orange, blue, pink).
I was thinking of doing orange chevron stripes on one wall of the nursery, paining a dresser from my childhood yellow, and perhaps getting a green fuzzy area rug. The quilt will probably be used as a wall hanging.
Does this sound like too much? I'm planning on leaving the rest of the walls the very light tan color that they are now, and the crib and long dresser will be white, as are the doors and all of the trim.
what color orange? I think the chevron wall might be too much with the yellow dresser, too. But, some rooms could pull it off. Can you PIP the room for us?

I would probably alternate an orange to match the dinosaur in the picture and one 2 shades lighter on the color card, but I'm not sure.
Maybe it would be better to do a curvy line to match the lines in the quilt? I have no idea. Just brainstorming some ideas. I could keep the walls all neutral and just play up the colors with decor and furniture.
