Finishing up the trim in the mudroom, figuring out how we're hanging the lighted garland around the front door (nowhere to drill into for a hook, and the surface isn't great for command hooks), and maybe getting a bench for the front porch.
Taking my clutter to goodwill. Didn't get that far today. Otherwise, I have one cupboard left to organize. That's probably about it. I'm kind of out of DR things to do until my curtains get here.
Our basement needs some finish trim in places yet and a couple fixes, but I need H for that. He's working all weekend as it is and it's a big project, so I'm not even going to bother until after Christmas.
I need to run tomorrow, get my Christmas cards started and drink a little. That's about my agenda.
DH is going ot help me finish assembling a shelving unit that I bought on overstock on Cyber Monday. I stalled part way through the other night (tried to surprise DH and have it assembled before he got home from work) and haven't had time or the energy to finish. I think all that is left is tightening the screws holding the top and bottom on and putting the covers on the screws.
Other than that, just some cleaning and a few loads of laundry. I brought home some work this weekend and won't have time to do much of anything else, unless I luck out and don't run into any problems, then I will help DH put up more Christmas stuff outside so that our house doesn't look so sad.
Just lots of cleaning. I might look at and order a new light fixture for the kitchen. DH is back in closet-building mode, so I may get the second of three doors on my closet this weekend. We're going on year two, so that's about right. One door per year
The first coat of primer on the ceiling is the nursery is done, but after looking at how much it soaked up the primer, I'm going to go ahead and roll a 2nd coat.
There's also a ring around the ceiling fan box from where the previous owner did some shitty patch work and it's still showing through the primer. Ugh, these people were such shotty DIYers.
I'm putting up some shelving in my garage, rearranging my 2nd bedroom/ office, painting some picture frames for my powder room, and a whole slew of other small things.
Our storm doors are getting installed as we speak on both our front and back entry doors! So far, they look really nice and seem to seal very tightly, which is what we need. Hopefully the downstairs won't be so stinking cold now.
