I am considering exchanging my All-Clad d5 stainless steel saute simmer pan for the brushed. I know it is purely aesthetics, but I was hoping to get some input as to whether or not I should do it. I would prefer scratches to be less noticeable and the stainless steel seems like they would be more obvious. Any thoughts?
I have both the brushed and regular - I honestly like the regular better. After a couple of years, my d5 brushed pans are starting to look a little dull.
I have both and gotta say that I prefer the look of the stainless steel looks-wise and I haven't noticed it getting too beat up despite having it for several years. Still, the brushed works just as well but is cheaper so if I have to get more I'll probably get that.
eta: I'm dense and didn't read the OP properly. I'd keep the stainless unless you're really rough on stuff.
