I got zip. Aside from some cleaning and setting up the christmas tree. Saturday we ran errands and got groceries, took DD to a bakery for a treat, and then had a big family event. sunday we had church and then the in laws for lunch, came home and set up the Christmas tree and then I was wiped.
The poor nursery looks like crap, and we have 11 weeks left to go. I really need to find some energy and time somehwere.
And DD was awake at 4:30 this morning. She is always an early riser, but this is the earliest. :-(
I got my house set up for Christmas and it's almost clean for my family holiday party this Saturday.
I tackled my office which was a catch all for every homeless item in my house. I got so much done in there and it looks awesome. I'm so happy. It is so clean and organized now.
We manage to get four sick dogs to the vet and on the mend so that we could get some sleep and not have to clean up after them every time we turned around. Antibiotics = miracle.
I didn't get all of the work that I hoped to get done on wedding party attire, but I did manage to dye a couple of things, figure out a cutting layout for something that we didn't think we had enough fabric for, (that's what happens when you someone changes part of the design after the fabric has been purchased...good thing I bought extra) and got some patterns made from our prototypes. Today is going to be a long day of cutting stuff out of slippery fabric and an evening of fittings. Fingers crossed on these fittings, because those dresses were a b!tch to figure out.

I was so damn sick. FINALLY feeling 65% today after a week of feeling absolutely awful. Of course DD has it now. FML
We did go get our tree which almost killed me. I could barely get out of the truck when we got there. Then I asked for a golf cart ride up the hill to pick a tree. Embarrassing. The rest of the weekend I spent on the couch while DD and DH decorated the tree.
Now I have to dig myself out of this hole. Went to grocery, now folding laundry. Thank goodness work was slow.
I worked. A ton. Cow milking, calf delivering and farm operating in general sucked most of my weekend. I did get caught up on laundry, cleaned really good and got all the clutter out of my house. Took Hondurican to the bust station, stopped at the grocery store, got my Christmas cards done. Solved/listened to/whined about a bunch of family drama last night on both sides.
Today I live in the freakin' twilight zone. The only two days I was supposed to work at school this week were Wed. and Thursday. Principal called me in a panic in this morning and wanted to know if I'd sub. I said no because I'm the only cow milker today. He said can you come when you get done? He wouldn't stop negotiating so I gave in. School is so short staffed I'm on my 3rd room in an hour and am babysitting between 2 later this afternoon. It's nuts. And I'm supposed to have a parent meeting with one of my deliquents on my lunch break. Great. H is also mad I did what farm work could and left him with Rubes (her daycare allotment is used up later this week). Jeez...can only please so many people a day...I give up! ANND ANND I've been up since 4:15...are we done yet?
I got my new sofa cover so I am really excited about that. My living room feels brighter already. I didn't get the carpets cleaned, but we at least have the carpet cleaner. My brother said he will do it for me. I love having him live with me!
We went through everything in the garage and made a garage sale pile and got everything put up into the attic that should be there (we moved in to our new house a month ago) so that we can now park in the garage. This was a big accomplishment. We also bought a full size mattress for our older son's big boy bed that we'll put together tonight.
We got some closet doors installed and got most of the living room trimmed out. I also did a bunch of laundry. But it was basically a DEEPLY lazy weekend. I guess we needed it? I dunno...our timeline is shot all to hell though.
