What's in your box, and what are you doing with it?
We got strawberries, semi-sweet cherries, lettuce, Swiss chard, snow peas, broccoli, sprouts, and yellow squash.
I made sesame noodles with snow peas and broccoli (and cucumbers and a red pepper). Going to make a Swiss chard, yellow squash, sweet potato, and chicken Thai red curry. The strawberries and cherries will likely go in a crumble/crisp-type thing. Lettuce and sprouts are TBD.
Beets I am thinking of making a beets and goat cheese salad for a family memorial day picnic
Broccoli rabe had last night, not a fan. I boiled for a few minutes then right into an icebath. Then wilted them down in a pan with some oil, garlic and red pepper flakes. It was nasty, I don't know what I did wrong, or if broccoli rabe is just nasty.
Romaine in salads all week
Asparagus I roasted in the oven with some salt, pepper, evoo & garlic powder

Was the broccoli rabe really bitter? I'm not a fan of it because I find it too bitter for my tastes. Supposedly, if you pick it at the right time and cook it the right way, it's not bitter, but I've never liked it when I have tried it.
