Proboards needs longer titles. Anyways...
Sesame noodles to bring to a movie night, Knock You Naked Brownies (German chocolate cake brownies, basically) for a BBQ, Banana coladas for a BBQ, Thai red curry for lunches next week, and a cherry/strawberry crisp/crumble just because.

Crap. I didn't even ask my mom what she wants me to bring to her house on Sunday. We have a wedding Saturday 3 hours each way without traffic so that's been the only thing on my mind.
I am making blackberry, lemon and thyme muffins for breakfast next week though.

I made Greek Yogurt Blueberry-Banana bread last night. I used my PC stoneware mini loaf pan...I plan on bringing 2 this weekend, and keeping one...and the other is gone thanks to DH
made the first strawberry pie of the season last night. nothing overly exciting for dinners-- last night was pasta and veggies, tonight is steaks and grilled squash/zucchini with pesto, tomorrow is leftovers, i believe. but i am making some blueberry muffins this morning.

It's not a long weekend here and even if I were in the US, it wouldn't be for my family as my Dad never has Memorial Day off. But, that said:
Friday I didn't do anything in the way of food. We went to the mall, had lunch at the food court, popcorn with the movie (MIB3 see it!!) and then stopped at a bakery for some sweet breads to bring home to have with the first night of the Eurovision broadcast.
Saturday, I made Father Dominic's Pesto Swirls from Breaking Bread with Father Dominic -- DH loved them! -- and I did a pumpkin (winter squash) risotto using the fresh pumpkin my neighbor brought over on Thursday.
Today, I was lazy. We still have tons of the Pesto Swirls leftover, so I wrapped a few in foil and heated them up and served them with pasta with a sauce of olive oil, garlic, and parsley. Later tonight, I will toast up a pan of Hot Buttered Cheerios and we will watch the final night of the Eurovision broadcast.
I made brown butter chocolate chip cookies (cook's illustrated recipe). They turned out kinda meh... They didn't brown on top so I ended up over cooking them a bit. And they puffed up and were cakey instead of chewy. Which is surprising to me since I weighed the flour. Anyway...
