Lurker here…I started floating a couple of years ago. I’m glad that your first experience was so good! It takes a bit of practice to learn how to find the meditative sweet spot. I learned (the hard way) not to have caffeine before hand. I literally bounced off the sides of the pod that visit. The magnesium in the Epsom salt is soooooo good for you. Due to the magnesium and the relaxation, I typically sleep so well the night after a float.
If you have fibromyalgia, some float centers offer a 50% discount if you being in proof of your diagnosis. It is worth looking into.
OMG I just watch this weeks Unexpected. I can't with Jason. Sweet goodness I wanted to throw things. I'm genuinely afraid for her.
Did you see that he was vaping while in the birthing tub with her?!?!? Yet he wouldn’t allow her a bag of fluids?!?!? WTAF!! Her parents are going to go through the roof when they see that footage.

We got our Landsbury two piece section (it has the chaise) in 2009. It has survived five moves (two were international), one child and two dogs. The two pieces don’t click together like they used to but it’s still comfortable and used regularly. We are still pleased with our purchase!
There is an Embassy Suites on 22nd St NW that has an indoor pool. I used to live around the corner and it is a quiet block but fairly close to the red, orange, and blue lines. It is also a fairly easy walk to Georgetown.
Super random, but the CVS on 22nd and M is the best CVS. I lived there in 2009 and I still remember it fondly, lol.
If you stay here, there is a bakery nearby that is amazing!! Tatte Bakery, at 1200 New Hampshire Ave NW, has a great breakfast menu. They get really busy on weekends, but we were there early. The morning bun is my favorite! My husband and I stayed in this area for a staycation weekend in November. Great area!

Below Deck Med: I wonder if Captain Sandy is watching the season and what she thinks about how things were handled given this additional information. Sandy was all about Lexi being a terrific person but the footage does not lie. Yes, Mat instigated, but Lexi went hard and **low**. Repeatedly. I also wonder what Lexi’s mom thinks about her daughter’s actions and choice of words.
If also bothered me that Captain Sandy was so mad at Mat because Lexi told her about Mat’s ultimatum. Except Mat never delivered an ultimatum to Sandy.
Though, I would not want to be in Sandy’s position. Dealing with crap like this is good for a reality TV show but would not be my ideal work environment.

Scramble has two locations, Alexandria, not far from I-95, and Falls Church. School has started in many area districts, so they shouldn’t be too crowded. goscramble.com/

I want to smack Mike and his mom, Trish. Trish is baiting Natalie and Mike is allowing it, if not encouraging the behavior. Natalie is, IMO, annoying, but the digs and goading of Natalie is not cool.
Angela and Michael need to have their private conversations in private. Quite dragging these doctors into their problems. And Angela needs to stop flirting with her medical providers. It’s awful. Are these dicots comping the surgeries? How is she affording the surgeries, time off of work, hotels and meals? And, I can’t believe she is continuing to smoke. I can’t wait for next week when the plastic surgeon wants to test her for nicotine!
Julia needs counseling for her jealousy issues. Brandon’s comment about her running off his friends is spot on. He had a life before her. As she did, too.

Teen Mom OG Reunion—Anyone catch it when Jen suggested that Taylor is jealous of Ryan?!?!? I about fell out of my chair. That shows you a big part of why Ryan is the way he is, his parents have raised him to think he’s better than everyone else and that there are minimal consequences to his actions. Hell, Larry blamed Taylor for goading Ryan into threatening Taylor and Maci, thus the situation with the order of protection. And Larry asked where Taylor was for the first three years of Bentley’s life. Ummm, Taylor hadn’t met Maci yet. The better question is, where was Ryan?
I agree with everything you said. Especially the part about Meri and not being able to have more children. I cannot even fathom her experience. She’s in this family with 3 other women having children almost every year after she had Mariah. Not to mention the family never works through shit so I guarantee she never went to long term counseling for that. I can’t help but have empathy for her. Kody is such an asshole.
I think they just let meri go. Yes, she was in a bad place several years ago and was hard to like at times, but I think she was also hurting. A lot. And now it is like they have written her off. And, now she is here trying with all of them and they do not seem to care.
Also, Janelle's boys can start trying to make an effort of not seeing all their friends so that they are not so cut off from their dad. The one working gets a bit of a pass, but the other one is so annoying.
Gabe, the son with the girlfriend, comes across very poorly on the show. I understand that he’s a teenager, but he’s exceedingly self centered. It’s really not a good look. I loved it when his sister put him in his place.
I’m getting annoyed by Christine’s talk about being a “basement wife” and not a “Queen”. She said she’d always wanted to be a third wife. It’s difficult to be Queen with two or three other wives. She seems really unhappy and is trying to drag the others down with her. As crazy as the one house concept is, I can see Kody’s perspective. It keeps the family centered. The kids are together, and if done properly, nobody is a “basement wife”. But Christine shut down any and all conversations about it. And, if you get jealous seeing your husband go out with a sister wife, polygamy probably isn’t for you, even if you come from “polygamy royalty”.
Maci was at a gas station during a shooting. Pretty terrifying. Also, how does Amber have ZERO self awareness? Does she have narcissistic personality disorder as well as bipolar?
I was stunned at Amber’s complete lack of self awareness. She thinks she’s a great mom?!?!? Leah said in that episode that she hasn’t spent one on one time with her mom in years and all she remembers about being at her mom’s house is Amber sleeping. Get real.
Maci’s experience sounds terrifying. I’m glad she is okay.
As far as the Edwards family being “set aside”—finally!!! All their segments this season were to complain that Maci is keeping Bentley away. Be proactive. Behave as though you care! I have to say, for Maci that changing to focus will be much better for Bentley AND it will hit Ryan in the bank account because my guess is that MTV was his only source of income. No more riding the Teen Mom gravy train for him and Mack.
I can’t believe they haven’t talked to Bentley about sex yet. He’s 12!
I thought the same thing! My son is just a bit younger than Bentley and he’s been asking questions, periodically, since he was eight. Plus, our schools start covering things in fourth grade. I know it was an innocent thing, but I recall that Bentley has had a “girlfriend” at school. That boy needs to be educated about sex!
This week it seemed like his parents were blaming Maci. When he apologized to the camera and then said he told Bentley he was sadly mistaken if he thought he would give up in Ryan I just thought this is wacky, just wacky. I thought Macy was putting a little too much of Bentley’s business on camera with regards to the psych but I wonder if she’s doing that to show her side.
Yeah, I wish this wasn’t Maci’s storyline. Just leave poor Bentley out of it. He’s so sweet, and I hate that he’ll be able to watch this play out forever. He certainly didn’t ask for this, that’s for sure.
I wonder if she didn’t show some of what they are doing for Bentley, folks would be upset that she wasn’t doing anything. I know that what we, as viewers, see is not the entire story, but it makes me mad when Jen and Larry speak negatively about Macy. She is the reason Bentley is a good, kind and determined child. Ryan has done nothing to rear his first son and his issues cause problems for Bentley. Nothing is ever Ryan’s fault or responsibility and those around him continue to support this notion. I mean, Ryan threatened Macy and her husband! And Ryan is mad that there were consequences! Not Macy’s fault!
DCC I want to know what Brennan meant when she said the team was going in the wrong direction. I’m happy with the end results although I liked the last girl they cut more than alora rose. I’m glad to see Armani made it. She was my favorite from the beginning.
I read a blog that said that four cheerleaders were cut because they spoke out about concerns regarding Covid. Who knows if that is true. They showed footage of the veterans making mistakes and Brennan had Covid twice before training camp, so maybe her stamina was not fully returned. But, they can edit anything to show the desired outcome for their narrative.

TM2
I feel for Jade. Her mother and step father are awful people. They do nothing but bring her down. Sean isn’t great, but at least he is not actively sabotaging and gaslighting her.
Kail must be rolling in money if she can afford to buy and sell houses as often as she does. I hope she is finally able to break free from Chris.
I like how Chelsea tells Aubree that she will handle things with Adam’s parents and Adam. It’s a difficult situation and Chelsea does all she can to shelter Aubree. I appreciate how Cole loves Aubree so much. Hopefully that counters how terrible Adam is.

Practice, practice, practice!!!
And make sure whatever she uses to dry her hands when she is handling her contacts is lint-free. When I got contacts in 8th grade, I tried to use tissues…and the lint was all over my hands then the contacts. It was awful. Lint free!!!!

Hi!! This board is **really** quiet. Hopefully others will see this!
I have not gone through basic training and my husband was well past it when I met him, so I don’t if I’m the best person to try to help…but honestly, the fact that you are taking the time to write is huge. Remind him of how proud you are of him. Share funny stories from home or your day. It’s a momentary break for him.

I get that folks aren’t thrilled with Sandy and Malia this season on Below Deck Med, but Hannah was clearly in the wrong and lying to folks about it doesn’t make it right. Hannah has been half-assing it all season. I’m curious to see how the dynamic between Jess and Bugsy evolves without Hannah telling Jess how awful Bugsy is.
It is really interesting to see just how well Pete has been edited out of the season. It’s almost as if he’s not there!

Kenny looks like he is going to struggle integrating into his new world. I give him credit for taking the leap, but he’s not the most adventurous guy. I do wonder why they selected the location they did. A moderate sized city would seem a better fit, in my opinion. They are still my favorite couple this season.
I love that Loren and Alex are back on Pillow Talk!!

I had leaky gut syndrome and other health issues (ultimately diagnosed with fibromyalgia). I started taking a mineral based gut health supplement about 18 months ago. It has helped me in several ways, but the two most significant are improved sleep and improved BMs. It’s not inexpensive, but I tried to do without it and lasted about three days. Corey will continue to film because he needs the money. It will likely mean he spends more time at Cheyenne’s house.
90DF Happily Ever After…I want to know what Elizabeth /Libby ever saw in Andrei. He is a first rate ass. He argues with everyone and does his best to pick fights with her family. To be planning a wedding in Moldova and expect her dad, whom he hates, to pay for it us next level unrealistic.

90 Days The Other Way—Jenny’s daughter and her partner are so patient with Jenny and the terrible decisions Jenny makes. I would be so frustrated to be supporting my 61 year old mother because she’s spent all of her money trying to be with her boyfriend in India. And Sumit does not currently have a job? Why isn’t he working? Neither of them has a practical thought between them.
Kenneth and Armando seem to be a sweet couple. I feel for Kenneth’s adult children. It would be hard to see a parent move away, but they seem to have a good family connection. And Kenneth does not look 57!! Wow!!

I drove through this area this afternoon, too see what it looked like. The single family homes and townhouses are all new builds, but the apartments are in the actual dormitories. It’s a lot to take in.

I can’t watch sMothered. Can’t do it.
Stephanie is so damn self-centered. She hoped that Erika would drive six hours (three each way) to give her a hug goodbye?? And, if six hours weren’t enough, gas is expensive in Australia (quick Google search says it’s over $4 a gallon!!!). Stephanie has issues she needs to address before even considering being in a relationship.
David needs to stop making those sounds when he hugs Lana, it’s creepy. She is being quite clear with her body language, actions and words that he needs to slow down. Their relationship in his mind is very, very different than their relationship in her mind. They are not on the same page. Hell, I’m not sure if they are in the same book.

I want to know if Jenna is even slightly embarrassed by her behavior now, watching Below Deck Sailing Yacht. During filming, she has no respect for others. When you choose to work on a yacht, your work and personal lives are combined. You can’t behave like a lovesick 15 year old and claim the professional high ground, at the same time. The hierarchy she always talks about works when it is respected by everyone.

I have to say, I was so embarrassed for Jenna when she told the guests that she’s dating Adam. Ummm, they don’t need to know that. But yah, Adam is an ass and Jenna needs to run fast.
I understand that being the only younger crew member not coupled up sucks, but Madison needs to grow up! Georgia and Chris haven’t even gone on a date yet. It’s not as though she’s an actual third wheel. Byron was spot on when he said that Madison craves attention but hates the spotlight. Or maybe she wants it on her terms?

I loved the clip of Zach talking in circles. Mindy’s reaction was great. And I loved that the host was not veiled in his questioning. Zach sucks. And he wore those glasses to try to look more intelligent. Didn’t work.
I agree that there is a whole other reality to what Taylor wasn’t saying and what she did…but Brandon did dig his own hole.
Katie is a weak and selfish person. Derrick deserves much better. I think she’d be miserable to live with. I hope he finds someone fun and loving who embraces his zest for life!!
It seems that Michael still does not really get that his lying is a problem. Meka was so damn patient. I really like her. She called Taylor out on her mean video, which was warranted. Meka deserves a good man who tells the truth and is real like she is.
I love how the ladies bonded. It’s neat to see how they support each other.

If I were Mindy, from MAFS, I think I might be offended that I was matched by the experts with Zach. Outside of both being active and physically fit, they don’t seem to be a match, at all. At least Brandon tried when the cameras weren’t around. (Though his attitude there at the end showed no grasp that he is a big part of the problem! I wanted to smack that grin off of his face.)
Post by NomadicMama on Apr 9, 2020 22:50:40 GMT -5
MAFS—Did you see the preview for next week where they make it look like Mindy regrets ending things with Zach?!?!? Please let that be editing and a tease! She deserves a truly good guy. Not Zach!!
The one thing I can say about Katie, she hasn’t led Derrick to believe she’s 100% committed to their marriage. It was uncomfortable to listen to them try to decide what to wish for on their lock at the winery. She was adamant about not committing to anything that insinuates they will be together after decision day. I will be shocked if she says yes. Derrick will absolutely say yes, but hopefully he’ll find someone who appreciates his fun and engaging personality. Katie takes offense with the aspects of his personality that should be embraced. Ugh. They are such a poor match!

TMOG—will Ryan ever accept responsibility for his actions? When will Mack realize she made a huge mistake in marrying him and having two kids with him?
Amber needs help. She needs residential treatment, like what Caitlyn did. Gary and Christina are awesome.
90DF—I don’t understand these people not learning more about the culture of their boyfriend/girlfriend. Ed should have done more research, Lisa, too.
