Today is DH's bday, so the kids and I have been making cards for him and making a cake. They wanted to know why daddy didn't make cards with them or give me anything for Mother's Day. I don't know kids!!!! Go ask him.... 😡 I can't say I'm not used to it. Last year is the only year I got a Mother's Day present of any sort.
Oh my gosh, they've gotten so big!! I still remember Linus's baby pictures. Beautiful children!
Thanks!!! I seriously cannot believe how quickly it went by. It feels like such a short time ago. I realized the other day how big he really is when I went to kiss the top of his head and realized he was boob height on me already lol.

Man, I have no idea how to update after years lol. Linus, Fiona, and Ruby are 6, 5, and 3. It's as chaotic as ever around here! We moved in last fall and I feel like I'm STILL moving in. We lived in the inlaws basement for a year while our house was being built. Yes, it was as awful as it sounds. We got out of there, annnnnnnd they decided to build a house right next door to us. Literally right next door. The kids are very excited at least.... The random dropping by without calling and just walking in has already started. They walked in on me the other day while I was sitting here half naked. Fun times ahead... Linus is getting ready to start kindergarten in July. We were planning on homeschooling, but are trying this first because he wants to. They're all well, just annoying food allergies as usual. Fiona's last peanut allergy test was almost negative though, so she's doing a peanut test/trial at the end of the month! ::fingers crossed::!!!! We were trying for a fourth, but I've had chemical pg after chemical pg. Right now I had a horrible 2nd beta. I got my third one today so we basically know it's not going to stick, just waiting for it to go down and not be on ectopic watch. Fun mothers day, ugh. We're just probably going to call it quits and focus on the next stage with all of the kiddos. I was nervous about a 4th c/s anyway so maybe it's just better!
Oh my goodness, you're still here!! I lost touch and was randomly searching my bookmarks and found this again! So happy to see how many people are still around. I feel weird saying hi after years, but I didn't want to be a dirty lurker. The kids are so big! It's so bizarre to think how long it's been. I'm heading to bed soon but will start catching up tomorrow.

I feel like I'm the most paranoid of paranoid and I don't. I think I only stopped though because she decided she hated sandwiches. Then she wanted mine one day so I realized she would eat it if it was cut in half or quarters like mine. She's good about small bites with them though. I cut up all of her quesadillas and pizza though. For some reason she does not get that she has to take little bites of those!

I'm so excited! Fiona's milk level went from 4.32 last year to 3.47 this year and her peanut went from 1.64 to 0.73!! He said there's no reason to not think she'll outgrow both and that he has very high expectations she will. Her baked milk challenge is scheduled for mid-June (the soonest they had!!). I feel so happy that there's progress!

These kids can freaking pee. At night we've had the best results with parents choice (yes seriously) overnights with a regular day time diaper sized up and put over it.

Both kids get theirs for nap and bedtime. Linus has already been talked to about the paci fairy and he wants her to bring him Stuffie from Doc McStuffins for all of his pacis. He just switched to his big boy bed so we're getting over that adjustment then will drop them. I think it's going to be hard. He loooooves his pacis and lines them up under his pillow. Fiona isn't as attached, but I don't feel the need to take them away right now. Pedi also said worry about it sometime before 4, so I'll get to it.
Ugh, so frustrating. Is the prevacid for Colin? We went through the same thing with Linus and refused to pay OOP 100% for the compounded prevacid. You can actually use OTC prevacid and open the capsules and put the beads in applesauce. I can't remember dosage/etc., but I know at the time Linus got a whole pill. Other reflux moms would divide the "beads" from the pill into two doses if need be. The pharmacist agreed that this is the same med and dosage as compounded. It actually ended up working better for him, because the compound always seemed to break down or something as it reached the end of the bottle and wasn't as effective. If you're pharmacist can't help you with that then you can google and it's very common in the kiddo reflux world. If it's for Oliver then ignore all of this lol.
We're PTing Linus in a month or so and I have a feeling Fiona will want to be involved. I haven't decided if it will be easier or harder to do 2 at once... Linus was ready a while back then got too overhwlemed so we stopped. Then my wonderfully helpful MIL thinks it's like so incredibly awesome to put the kids on the potty, so while I was ginormously pregnant kept hyping up the potty and taking it upon herself to put them on there. I nixed that because I did NOT want to PT while I was 8-9 months pg. Somehow she thinks I want her help doing this and that it's her place, but whatever... Anyhow, Fiona was involved in this sitting on the potty with Linus both times and every time he did it she wanted to. So whether she actually PTs or not this time I'm assuming she'll be trying.
