This particular one had a hoola hoop show. It really impressed me.

I don't go to Hooters though. I find the atmosphere very trashy. H and I went once when we were dating and I thought it was lame. The wings were horrible too, despite all the claims that their wings are so great.

To put it in perspective, the catholic high school has their big fundraiser sponsored by hooters and they even have hooters girls at the event.

It's a non issue. Granted, we have people in bathing suits everywhere, so hooters girls seem well dressed lol.

My son is 13 and no, I would not. When he is 16/17, I might consider it.

They really do not show anything except stomachs, you see more at the pool, but I just wouldn't be comfortable. That and I HATE the food (except the wings).

Yep. I grew up in Florida, and Hooters is on every corner there. It's like Chili's- just everywhere. So, I've been eating their wings since I was little. We've already taken L there twice (she's 14 months old).

That said... I don't think I'll take her when she's bigger and more aware of body image. So, maybe we'll stop when she's like 7 or so? We'll see.

No. My 3 yr old DS is already obsessed with cheerleaders that he sees when we watch NFL games.

He would not be able to concentrate if I took him there.

I love their wings, curly fries and pitchers of beer though. Alot.

I hate hooters because the food sucks. But if I try to Shelter my daughter from crappy body image things and my son from boobs, we will have to move.

Sigh. It was my one major complaint about moving back to Florida.

The last time I was at a Hooters, the waitress was feeding her kid at the table next to me, and the table on the other end of the room was a table full of Menonite men. In short, I just can't get it up about Hooters anymore.

Last year, my landlords kid came over to show me her Halloween costume. She was going as a Hooters girl, just like her big sister. She was 8 at the time. So no, lol. That incident put me off kids + Hooters.
