No, definitely not, especially with previous bleeding issues. I'd be sitting in a chair on the beach, sipping a virgin drink and taking pics of DH (that sounds so wonderful!).
Ok I didn't think so. It looks fun though. No bleeding for the past few weeks. This is also the first year in a while I've really wanted to go skiing. I think I'm feeling restless.
NQB, don't take this the wrong way, but maybe you haven't had bleeding because you're taking it easy and following your doctor's rules. I get that it's hard to be PG and give up some activities, but sometimes it's a good idea.

Yeah I know. I am just being a baby. I was at 4 concerts over New Years and was the only one not drinking or dancing. I'm a Debbie Downer. The ATV tour is out too. Swimming is good clean fun though. It's just all of a sudden I want to get in a time machine and go hang-gliding before I had kids. Or on a safari.

I know how you feel. You get the freedom back though. Maybe not as much as before, but I went off gallivanting to Atlantic City last year for a weekend of concerts and drinking, dancing, and basically behaving more like a college student than a married mother of one. I could totally have gone hang gliding if I had so desired.
I just went on 3/4 of the rides at Disney World (skipped the roller coasters and the teacups) and the waterslide at our hotel (much less steep than the one you asked about, and you are confined to a tunnel rather than thrashing about). I have skiied when pregnant, too. I would still avoid that particular waterslide, particularly with bleeding issues. It just looks like it would be too hard to control how you land.

I was in AC this summer for the Phish shows too! Maybe next next summer we can get together and bring the babes.

That would be amazing. I am already bumming about my ill-timed due date which is probably going to keep me from enjoying summer 2013 tour in its entirety, including the rumored festival. I told DH I am doing 2014 up big. ;D

I'm still trying to make our favorite band's summer festival a possibility..with a newborn. I figure since it's two hours away maybe we can just do an overnight in a hotel nearby and go to one daytime set.
Oh and I may go to SPAC on my due date. It's as close to the hospital as home is so that's okay, right? Being locked up all summer makes me :-(

What's your favorite band?
I would do a Phish festival if it was 2 hours away, even with a newborn. Unfortunately they are looking at the northeast, it sounds like, which is too far for me. I have a feeling I will mostly be on couch tour this year, oh well.
I would totally do SPAC as long as you can find a buyer for the tickets if things don't work out! I was due with DD July 25 and skipped the July 3 and 4 hometown Phish shows that year because I wasn't sure if I would feel up for them and didn't want the hassle of selling the tickets. In retrospect, I should have just bought them--I would have been fine to go--and if I had been miserable or gone into labor early I could surely have done StubHub or CashOrTrade quite easily. I have always, always, always wanted to go to a show at SPAC. It looks like such a great venue.

I love SPAC. It's only 40 minutes from home and 20 minutes from the hospital. Phish usually plays one or two shows there right around the weekend of my due date so I think we can still do and DH says we can go if he get handicapped parking.
Watkins Glen is about 90 minutes away. Do you know what date they're looking at? Would they allow non-campers?
Oh and my #1 band is moe. We're seeing them on Jam Cruise next week, so excited!

I really have no idea what date they might do for a festival, but I do know Watkins Glen is a proposed location. I know they had a lot of success for Super Ball there. Everything's just rumors now anyway... I feel like I might have a slim shot if they do something in the late summer but it's unlikely. Supposedly a full summer tour plus fall tour and festival are happening but, like I said, it's all rumor.
moe is one of those bands I feel like I would love if I ever gave them a listen. I have been meaning to look into them for... I don't know, years now. Any recommendations to look for on Spotify to begin with?
