Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!

My extra room was a basic closet, but we cleared it out to renovate and now it's empty until it becomes a nursery (someday). For now I call it my 'sitting room' and have some comfy chairs for reading. I've always wanted a 'library' of some sort. But with the advent of ebooks and the like... I really don't know what to do with it.
Plus in reality, I don't use it anyway because it's not on the main floor. So I guess it was better off being a closet!
I'm picturing bamboo flooring, full length mirrors on one wall that could easily be covered with curtains, and all the other props that I use normally in practices (which are highly googlable, so I'm being vague) . It would, of course, be big enough to accommodate friends that want to practice with me.
I'd want to have a small area for meditation, with some sort of secluded hammock or hanging chair.

Ooh I'll change my answer. An unlimited budget would help me make a brew room for all of our alcoholic hobbies. That sounds ways more interesting than a closet or library.
If your answer is, "I would never do anything so frivolous," then this probably isn't the post for you. :-P
Lol!
I REALLY want a pottery studio...with a wheel & a kiln. I may make this happen someday.
Can you do this inside? I know nothing about pottery and am genuinely curious. Either way, sounds amazing!
I think I would do a closet, craft room or library/writing center (that would somehow not be an office). This post makes me question my creativity, though. I hate that life after college has pretty much snuffed out my right brain!
ETA: Duh. Yes, a gym. Add a gym to my list. Now adding "WIN LOTTERY" to my to-do list.
Mine would definitely be the closet room. I take up three closets in our house (one is a sort of walk-in and two are just regular, small closets). H takes up two regular closets. I would absolutely adore a whole room dedicated to clothes, shoes, and purses with an area for me to dress.
ETA: Or a library. With floor to ceiling bookshelves the whole way around, a rolling ladder, a fireplace, and lots of cozy seating.
Right now our front room (it's called a den, but the previous owners used it as an office) is a wine room- we have a wine fridge, kegerator, and bar along with an Lshaped couch. We love it.
If we had a 4th bedroom I would definitely do the closet room, especially if there was a bathroom attached to it.
I would do a home gym. Treadmill, full set of weights, tv for videos and probably an ellipitcal and a rowing machine too. If we're going full out, a sauna and a whirlpool/hot tub. H would love an olympic sized pool but I don't think that would fit, lol.
So many wants. Number one would be a library with a window seat. I need a craft station or room to. I would love an indoor pool room, if it came with someone to maintain it.
Yoga/workout room. Hardwood floors, one wall of mirrors, and a closet full of amazing yoga clothes, of course.
Now I need to go buy a lottery ticket, because if I'm getting a yoga room, dh will be getting a sports themed man room that would seat at least 12. And include a fully stocked bar.
My first instinct would be a craft room but I already have SO much fabric I don't use in my little craft corner that I think a whole room would just result in buying more crap I won't use.
I think a yoga and meditation room would be a good idea. I wouldn't need an entire room for it so maybe I could have a combo yoga and craft room or something. Which sounds kind of stingy and practical for a dream room, LOL.
Maybe I can have a big house with a lot of spare rooms.
I have my own room now, but it's not quite done. It's not my dream room but it's my own space for the stuff I like. I'm still searching for a rug and a big comfy chair that will fit through our non-standard doorway.
I'd live to have a library, gym, and even a massive family type room. Our neighbors turned their third floor into a home theater type room with a rolling popcorn cart, I stalk their MLS listing like a creep.
I swear our house is not that huge or nice, but we already have a bar, workout room, tv/movie room (all in the basement), library and vanity/dressing room for me. The dressing room will need to be converted into a nursery in the next few months so if I could add another room or finish the currently gross basement storage I think I would make it an office so I could move the desks out of the library and claim the library as totally my own space.
Or I also like the idea of a huge spa bathroom just for me, including masseuse.
