listen, assholes, i don't even understand twitter, but i know that it's not the same as facebook. pick ONE form of social networking at a time. keep your tweets out of my facebook feed and i'll keep my facebook posts out of your tweets.
No, I'm pretty sure it's pointless on Facebook. It serves a purpose on Twitter but is just lame in FB. I'm old and ignorant though; if some hipster type wants to correct me I'm happy to hear it.
I don't mind the people who I know have their Facebook pages linked with Twitter (so every time they update on Twitter, it shows on Facebook) but there is a little symbol that lets you know they have both.
It's the people who use willynilly that bother me. It irks me even more when people actually SAY "hashtag" in real life. Saying "lol" in real life isn't acceptable and neither is "hashtag"

if that is true, and i don't doubt that it is, my annoyance is not lessened because i'm just LIKE THAT. they're still all jerks!
This drives me bonkers. I have a facebook friend who does this constantly. In fact, to quote one of the billion pictures of herself she posted this weekend: "#me #red #redhair #manicpanic #vampirered #girlswithtattoos #glasses #oregon #tattoos #piercings"
I believe some social networking platforms allow you to post things simultaneously to both your twitter and fb feeds, so that may be why people seem to use the twitter functions on facebook.
This. It's not that these people are typing "#xyz" on their facebook page, they just have their twitter linked with their facebook automatically. It doesn't bother me #twitterwhore #quithating

1 funny hashtag is okay. A bunch? ruins the picture.
To me it's a complete AW thing to do. Because isn't that why people used them to begin with? So stuff would start "trending" and people would see their stuff? 20 hashtags means you're desperate lol
