The weather was really cold and craptastic here all weekend. Friday: usual day off. Sat.: 15.5 mile mountain bike ride in 25 degree windchill w/20 mph winds. I was shivering; I'd wanted to do 20+ miles but decided to play it safe. Sunday: 60 minutes on the trainer. 25 degree windchill and snow in the morning. Ok, I could have waited til the afternoon to ride, but I had other things to do...

F - lifting (plus my usual weekday 2.5 mile round trip walking commute) S - 7 mile run (was supposed to be 8, but I guess I was extra thirsty and ran out of water around mile 6 so I decided to cut it short), and a short 2ish mile hike S - rest day
Fri: 2.5mi walk w/kids & dogs Sat: 4mi family walk + bike trainer Sun: unplanned rest day (planned an outdoors bike ride and it was gorgeous out...but DS was teething and kept me up all night, so I just napped instead)
F: 8 miles with jogging stroller S: 4 miles with 2 @ tempo. I'm taking baby steps into incorporating more speedwork again. Su: 12 miles long run + 2 miles with the kids. DD wrote about it in her journal
Friday lift and yoga and elliptical Saturday rest Sunday hour on elliptical planks push ups and walh around universal Today hope to run 7 when it gets to at least 40 I'm sick of being cold to run. I miss the 50s
F: Rest S: 12 miles S: Core + power yoga. I had planned on doing 5 miles as well, but my IT band is being a bitch. I have a 15k on Saturday. Lots of foam rolling & yoga this week.
F: 6 mi S: rest S: was supposed to be 4 mi, but I woke up sick and it was cold. Decided I should rest instead of pushing it. Had to do 30 minutes of movement in the house though to keep my gympact for the week. FYI, washing dishes/loading the dishwasher isn't enough movement but pacing the house is.
Friday: Boxing and some random ab work found on fitness.com Saturday: 5k run Sunday: rest, but I walked around the grocery store and Costco plus did laundry (which requires a lot of walking) so I didn't just sit around.
