And what's on the menu? We're doing Dr. Seuss but probably just doing a cookout. So, hot dogs, burgers, chicken and picnic sides. Cake, ice cream and snacky foods as well. I was on Pinterest and the idea of themed food is so cute, I just don't have the time. What are/did you guys do?

I am doing storybooks, so sticking to book themed food. Some of it is a stretch though. Our main food will be pizza, but also doing meatballs, ziti and some sides.

Our theme is Zoe's unbirthday. It'll be a tea party, with tea sandwiches, biscuits, little cakes, madeleines, maybe some eclairs, I'm thinking I'll make macaroons for our dairy free mama friends, and then teas and lemonades for drinks. We'll have a cake as well.
Nautical. We're getting subs from Jimmy John's. For dessert I'm doing life preserver Rice Krispie pops and cup cakes. Snacks will be a fruit/veggie tray and goldfish. Favors are a bag of Swedish fish.
We are doing a Western theme. Our food will be brisket and another meat, BBQ sauce, cornbread salad, potato salad, green beans, baked beans, bread, cupcakes, homemade ice cream, tea and lemonade.
I just totally invited myself. The epitome of southern comfort.

I saw a dress on etsy and thought of you. It's similar to the Alice dress you made Zoe.
For food, we are having our cousin who is an Executive Chef at a local Chophouse, do a pig roast for us. He's stuffing the pig with apples, pinapple and sausage. We'll be pairing that with alcoholic jungle juice for the adults and "jungle juice" (Green Gatorade) for the kids who are old enough to drink that. I've got a few ideas for other animal-theme food like "tiger tails" (Cheetos), a porcupine made out of watermelon with toothpicks sticking into the cubed pieces, and a cucumber snake.

We're doing animals in honor of Sophie the Giraffe, his best friend. I'm not sure on the food but it will probably be BBQ related. DH is a BBQ nut and has been itching to fire up the smoker.

I keep changing mind, but I still have almost 2 months!
Probably going to be Sesame Street. Food will be sandwiches from a local deli with different salad sides. I don't want to worry about cooking. Cupcakes for dessert.
Sock monkey. Food wise we will have pinwheel sandwiches (italian, veggies, and turkey avocado), chicken fingers (lol, my H's request), a fruit tray, and two pasta salads (undetermined kind ATM). We will also have two cakes (choc. cake w/choc buttercream and vanilla cake w/vanilla buttercream), sugar cookies, and a small candy buffet. I am still trying to convince DH to let me get the sushi I want, lol.

Theme - you are my sunshine
Appetizers - spinach artichoke dip, cheese and crackers, fruit tray Food - pizza, wings, chicken fingers, salad Dessert - cake and ice cream
Sadly, I put a lot more time and effort into Ella's first birthday in terms of food and preparation. I just don't have the time...work has been crazy, and I'm exhausted.

I have no idea. Was going to do a joint party but not any more. Now I'm thinking of pushing it back to a week after her birthday and doing it on cinco de mayo!
That reminded me of Ernie. erniebufflo return to us.... Please...
@pcloadletter- damn, I already ordered it a few weeks ago from PartyCity! :(Boo. But, I did get their b1G1 50% off deal so I don't feel too bad. Good looking out, though. Thanks!

We are throwing a mustache bash. No idea what to do with the babies and adults, but there will be a ton of mustache decorations.
No idea about food yet. Except for the cookies I'll make for the goodie bags in the shape of mustaches. Oh and alcohol. I'll probably have it catered so I don't have to worry about food. We have an awesome bakery in our neighborhood that will make a cake and a couple smash cakes.

Baseball theme. He's the "rookie of the year".
We are doing hot dogs, burgers, MH is going to make either brats or polish sausage. Soda, lemonade for drinks. The park has a strict no alcohol rule, sadly. I will be making his smash cake and a cake for everyone else. I'm thinking of doing a vanilla cake with banana pudding filling. Probably make some chocolate ice cream to go along. Party favors will be boxes of cracker jack.

The cake sounds so good. One tier of our wedding cake was banana and it was amazing!
We are doing a bunny party. I haven't figured out all the food yet but probably order sandwiches or something. We'll do carrots and dip, pita chips and hummus, cheddar bunnies for the kids and bunny cupcakes. We'll also have peeps of course!
Mexican/fiesta, because it will be May 4th. I'm doing a taco bar and a chips/salsa bar. I'm not sure what is for dessert but I want to make 2 Mexican desserts, one being a cake.
ETA: There will also be margaritas and mexican beer. Please don't flame me LO will be like the only child there.
