It seems like we've got until episode 9 and it should happen then. They have a list of the episode titles and episode 9 is The Rains of Castamere.
I won't see the show until tomorrow
Last episode, though, had to just discuss! I was shocked by the Joff killing Roz. That shit haunts me. I think they bring Joff into a much more cruel light in the tv show. In the book I thought he was stupid and liked seeing humiliation. I didn't picture cold blood killing from him. Honestly, in the book I thought he was too much of a wuss to do any of that himself and would only kill people in his way.

Oh holy fuck I just realized what is going to happen in this episode by the title!! OMG I cannot wait to be able to watch this episode.
I'd say that it was from this point forward that I actually liked Jamie, not just loved his character for being a dick. He does get more likeable in the books as time goes on, I just don't know how that will be portrayed in the show. But I am loving the acting in his arc so far!
Are you talking about the bear fight? I totally don't remember that happening in the book. I'm sure the red wedding will be closer to the end/cliffhanger for next season.
This show is so good! I can't believe there are just 3 episodes left. Such a short season! Yes, I think they were will be a huge cliff hanger at the end of the season. My H is still annoyed that he doesn't know what is going on since he hasn't read the books.
I'm going to be a bit of a bummer, but I wasn't totally impressed with the bear fight. Yes, for a viewer that hasn't read the books, it was a shock and a (probably) nerve wracking scene. For me, I was expecting more. I know, I know, it's hard to direct a bear and I should be happy the CGI looked good, but the book description was more suspenseful and intense.
On another topic, the dragons are looking awesome!

It happens a little differently in the book. Brianne is tortured by the brave companions/cargo hoat at that point and sent in with a wooden sword in her dress and Jamie saves her. I think in the book she gets thrown in because she attacks vargo hoat when he tries to rape her after Jamie is sent away.

Oh boo! I haven't seen it but I had high hopes.
Interesting fact. The bear scene is the first reason that the show was filmed in the states. They couldn't ship the bear to the UK.

OK, it has been a year since I've read it so I thought I just forgot about it but that sounds familiar.

In general, they've left a lot out. A lot of little explanations that would help viewers who haven't read the books. Oh well, lol. I thought it was a decent episode.
Sorry I'm late to the party (but I brought SNACKS!)
Ummm... is it just me or is anyone else totally over the drawn out multi-episode torture scenes? I am 1/3 of the way through book 4 and NOT looking forward to reading about the torture. I hate Theon, but I hate watching torture more. One or two episodes would have been plenty - FFS!

It is much worse on the show than it is in the books (at least so far). I had a hard time watching the scene in this episode.

I agree! I haven't read the books (I'm the only one here who hasn't I think) so I have no idea why he is torturing him or anything, but I want some answers dammit!

In the books it's just because he's a psychopath. I don't know if they'll have a reason in the show though.
I dont recall Rob's wife ever stating she was pregnant.. in fact.. If I remember correctly there was a scene where she says she is trying to give him a heir.. a conversation with Lady Cat.... But I dont recall it ever being confirmed :/.... (But Im also in the beginning of Book 5)

I don't think she ever says it, but after the big bad thing that is coming at the wedding, it is mentioned by another character and I want to say someone sends an assassin to kill her so the heir never lives. I could be mistaken, though.

This and because he needs a new Reek. When he is reintroduced in the book, I believe his name on the character page is as Reek.
