I'm afraid that she's having a psychotic break as well. That was my first thought. I don't know what to do in that situation, to be honest, without completely betraying her trust.
As for the exorcism, the paranormal expert said she's going to try to arrange somebody to come to her, but my friend was already talking about going down there and having it done. I don't know why the paranormal person can't come to her. I was suspicious of that too.

I had a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast this morning. 4 hours ago.
I have felt SO sick for every second of those 4 hours. I am in pain, too. Heartburn, upset stomach and back pain. I want to cry I am trying so hard to make it through today and not ask to go home. I don't know why it's not getting better.
I am never having a bagel again.
Zantac and tums, stat
Both were approved for me to take during pregnancy
I took tums because I had them in my purse. It's done nothing. I am going to keep taking them. My dr has told me I can eat as many as I want of those so I plan on it.
I have Zantac at home but not here and it's nap time, so I'm just going to lay down and hope I recover.
I can't wait to be done with work today. We had too much wine last night and I'm dragging today. I want to leave here with enough energy to go to the gym.
Also guys I wasn't the dumbest person on my test lol!
So full disclosure I am in a medical education graduate program. Most of the students are residents or physicians that want to learn more about teaching. I am neither of those but work in medical education. Anyways I am always the dumb one in the class. It is just how it goes when you are in classes with doctors. But today I got the results of the test with everyone's scores, no names attached, and I was the SECOND to last worst score.

Fuck yeah Friday!
I slept in because I felt like garbage yesterday, just so exhausted and couldn't snap out of it. I skipped my workout and I feel good. Yay!
I think there is something in our house that is affecting H. Probably mold. He just went through a series of neurological tests because he was having nerve pain, pressure behind his eyes, etc. Everything came back good and he says he feels better when he's away. But regardless, despite going to the doctor and asking him about it, he has decided he has blood sugar issues and is trying to cut carbs out. He ordered a book of low glycemic recipes this week. Ugh. Yesterday I went through some of my cookbooks and tagged recipes sans-carbs (tear) AND he's decided he's not having anything to drink until we go to Vegas in July. Which pretty much means I have to join him because otherwise I'm the alcoholic. This is NOT FUN, H. I do not enjoy your health kick.
At least we still have pizza night, because I will smack a hobo before we give up pizza night.
My friend called yesterday to tell me her 3 year-old woke up from his nap speaking in Latin, and that he seemed to be in a trance for a good 20 minutes. She called a paranormal expert and is now preparing to take her family on a 10-hour drive to get an exorcism done on her kids. I promise she's sane and normal. I want to believe her, and I do, at least partially, but I'm really worried about her and her family now.
My son has night terrors, and they can last that long. When he's in one, he is in a trance and babbles and there is absolutely no soothing or calming him. Has your friend at least even called her pediatrician and described what happened? It was really fucking scary the first time it happened to me, and I even half thought my kid could have been possessed.
That exorcism plan is insane. I can't imagine my first thought being to call a paranormal expert, like, as opposed to a doctor....
I treated myself to sushi today and I think it was bad (and it was only a California roll). I threw it out but the only other food I have in the office is in a gift basket that consists of chocolate truffles, chocolate cherries, and caramel corn (well, and onion-pepper relish, but I'm sure that was supposed to go with the cheese and crackers, which didn't last long). This means I have to eat candy for lunch, right?
A miracle occurred last night, I went to Target and only spent $11. I didn't even know such an event could happen.
So, how much stuff did you shoplift?
I cannot get out of Target for under $50 - can't be done
Yeah, I have no idea how it happened. I swiped my card and the signature screen didn't come up, apparently to don't have to sign for purchases under $25. Who knew? Lol

I dropped my car off at the dealership this morning for an oil change and 15k service. I pick it up and notice a huge scratch on it and the shitty wash job. They say they didn't do the scratch but will buff it out. 15 mins ago they said its all done just being washed again and will be done in 5 mins. Wtf. I'm so sick of this dealership but its the only local one. I bought my car up in NH. Plus when they are done its just going to be another shitty wash job.
I had such anxiety last night over the state of my garden that I took an ativan. This can't be normal. :^)
I'm in the final 2 for the job I interviewed for last month so I go in for another interview on Monday. This should be my dream job, and I think it could be but I have serious reservations about their family friendliness. It would be a huge change from my job now and I don't know if I want that. Even though I really don't like my job most of the time. I feel like I should be way more excited than I am for this.
I just found out that our Church's president lost his wife this morning. She was such a sweet and caring lady and a great example to a lot of LDS women. She is going to be missed. I cried when I found out.
You changed your sig, and I didn't realize this was you for a min. Until I saw the thing about your church's president's wife. Which I also saw on your FB. I'm really sorry to hear that
Don't stress about your garden. It's not that huge of a deal, it will all be ok.
Also, don't underestimate the importance of family friendliness in a company! I think that's one of THE MOST important things.

I know they say not to eat greasy food because it causes heartburn, but french fries cured my heartburn every.single.time. Just throwing that out there.

Hmmm, this raises a huge red flag for me. He should probably be seen by a medical doctor first, but that's my opinion. I wonder if it was a trance, or he was like sleep walking or something? Has he ever been exposed to another language before?
I want to go for a run but I can't because I have Anna here. I guess I will go later, but that means H and I will have to take turns going after he comes home from work and he will be late. I'm annoyed.
I took a 2 hour nap. Again. But this time I was up for like 2 hours in the middle of the night with a feverish kid, so that doesn't count as a lazy nap, right?
DH is annoyed that I am going to Toronto for work next weekend. I'm excited (sleeping at a hotel! ML GTG! No kids! Drinks!) but I am pretending I am sad to make him feel better. I think he knows.
I have only read page one so far, so if this is no longer random, I'm bringing random back.
I just got a speeding ticket on the way home. I am pouting about it hardcore. So annoyed. 100 dumb move on my part, I kind of spaced out on my drive home, and the speed limit drops to 30 on a 4 lane road (2 lanes going each way) so it is super easy to speed. Ugh, I feel sick wasting the money on a stupid mistake.
I got a collections notice in the mail for a doctor bill I paid in January 2012. I am pissed that I have to find proof that I paid the bill and send that to the collections agency. Who reports something to collections a year and a half after the bill was PAID??

Nope, this is the first time. He wasn't sleepwalking, she says. He apparently seemed fine immediately thereafter.
Again, I wasn't there so I can't say for sure that it was Latin, but my friend is convinced it was. If it happens again, she's going to record it or write it down so I can tell what he's saying (if he's saying anything).

I've had this happen, but it was like 4 years later or some absurdly long time. It was the biggest PITA.

Wow. That is ridiculous.
A doctors office accidentally filed some papers wrong, and reported my H for not paying a bill that wasn't even his. We had no idea until we were declined for a credit card application and then had to deal with the BS to clear his name/fix his credit. So annoying.

Oh man! They're giving me 30 days to clear it up before they put it on my credit report.

I was just going to post this.
She can't just show up at a church and say, "I'd like two exorcisms, please!" An exorcist gets specific liturgical training before he can be named the exorcist. Any Catholic/Christian can renounce a demon in the name of Christ but that's not the same as an exorcist.
Every diocese has an exorcist but their names secret and there is an "application" process of sorts.
Of course, she should start with a logical search for answers namely, a medical doctor.
