I'm feeling very unsettled, and I have been since I left xh. The first few months, I thought he was going to move out and I'd be back in my house. When I realized he wasn't going to, I went back and forth about getting my own place. Then I decided to stay at my parents. Then I started staying at J's more and more. Then I thought for sure xh was getting the house. Now it's seeming like I'm going to get the house. I just want to know where I'm going to be living! I want to be able to get my things out of storage and have my things around me. It's driving me nuts.
I'm sorry Bernadine. Is there a timeline for settling all of that?
I feel so bad for Hart - his hair is a mess. He couldn't care less, of course. But we pretty much butchered his hair trying to cut it. Ugh. There is a reason we leave these things up to the professionals

Bernadine, that sounds completely frustrating!
My random is that I am super excited to see my in laws tonight. Not because I love them (I really do), but because we're going to an Argentinian steakhouse for dinner.
Another random- most of my posts are about food. ::insert Homer Simpson's drooling face here::

Bernadine, that is stressful! I hope you get an answer and get settled soon.
My randoms:
Last night I went to a High School Spring Review. It was like Glee Live! It was so fun. I'm in awe of the talent at this school - it's probably THE premier school in Austin and there are over 3000 students and you can tell that they get a super high quality high school experience there. I'm a little jealous. There were something like 500 kids in the choir. My high school? Like 20, and they were ALL weirdos.
I'm driving to see my MOMMA today! oh em GEE I am SO excited!! I can't wait to go to the beach and eat my brother's delicious food (he's a chef) and see all my friends (my BFF who is PREGGY!!). Two and a half days is going to go by way too quickly.

Bernadine, that is really hard.
My friend called yesterday to tell me her 3 year-old woke up from his nap speaking in Latin, and that he seemed to be in a trance for a good 20 minutes. She called a paranormal expert and is now preparing to take her family on a 10-hour drive to get an exorcism done on her kids. I promise she's sane and normal. I want to believe her, and I do, at least partially, but I'm really worried about her and her family now.

Holy shit! Keep us updated.
I will. I want to emphasize that she's a great mom and a very down-to-earth person, so for her to be subscribing to something this drastic is out-of-character. I just hope she and her babies are ok. She says they are, but still - shit.
I'm dressed a little bit like a hobo today, but it's okay b/c we're doing a 5S/cleaning of the whole building this morning. I'm only here til noon, whee! TGIF!
DD loves loves loves the song Big Parade by The Lumineers. It's so cute to watch her sing along to it. H and I have been playing it in the mornings to get her to wake up, lol.
DH and I have an evening without the kids! And they aren't coming home until 5 or so tomorrow night, so I have most of the day to myself. Other than sleep in, I have no idea what I will do--maybe go down on the river and see a movie?
I saw my dermatologist last night for a skin check and to get a couple things looked at, have two spots on my left thigh that are "on the radar" but otherwise she told my skin is in fantastic shape! She didn't belive me that I used to burn really bad once every summer when I was little, she said she couldn't tell because there is no discernable sun damage. I am borderline xerox paper in color, so this has made me happy.

What the holy hell?? (literally) That is crazy scary
I called Toyota to schedule an oil change for our car and when the guy asked my for my DH's phone number (the car is in his name), I couldn't remember it. That was embarrassing!
We have a new grad student starting today and I am excited to have a coworker I actually like!
W.T.Faulkner, did they take the kid to a medical doctor first? I keep thinking brain tumor. I hope that baby is ok.
I asked if she took him to a doctor yet, and she said no, and that she wouldn't because they won't believe her. Her younger daughter is also affected, she says, so apparently it's not just the 3 year-old. She says they both react to things that aren't there, and her daughter (1.5 y/o, my goddaughter) cries a LOT whenever she leaves a room. We thought that was separation anxiety but she says it isn't, it's worse than that.
She's got a 2 month old too.
Her husband doesn't believe in any of it, so I'm hoping he forces her to take the kids to the doctor just to be sure.
I have had Kenyan marathoners staying at my house for the better part of the last 3 weeks. They left last night/this morning. My house is empty. I am SO HAPPY about this.
My friend can understand some Latin, since she recognizes some from church (she's Catholic). I can read Latin, so I asked her to write it down if it happens again so I could verify, and her paranormal person confirmed it too. I don't know how much I trust the paranormal person.

Does your friend speak Latin? Maybe the kids picked it up there.

This is effing crazy.
No, she can't. I wish she could and that there was some kind of logical explanation for this. I tried not to freak the fuck out on the phone with her, but I'm definitely freaking the fuck out, lol.
How does she know its Latin then? Maybe they're just babbling weirdly? There are probably 20 explanations I'd believe before I thought they were possessed and need exorcisms.
If they were my children, this is what I'd think, too.

Honestly I'm a pretty logical person and I'm agnostic but if this happened to me I might lose my shit. Exorcist stuff freaks me the fuck out. I would take the car spiders over this any day. I hope your friend is ok.

I forgot to add my random. I got a small bonus today and already spent it. I got a Diono Radian120 and a First Years Ignite stroller and an extended shade thing. I spent the whole thing on the baby but I can't wait to get my new gear. We are going to Memphis July 4th to visit family so we really need a lightweight stroller and the extended shade because its hot and we plan to spend a day at the zoo. Can't wait for our trip!

It's weird to me that the paranormal person is making her come to him - don't they usually come to the house and like, cleanse it and stuff?
I mean - this whole thing is weird to me, but that is the part that stood out the most.

I'd be afraid your friend was having a psychotic break.
Bernadine. I know the unsettled feeling, and I am sure you're feeling it way more than I was. It will get better!! Just remember that you will hae it all figured out one way or another.
I am now moving, job hunting, and am a full time student as of next week. So many stressors, but I know things will be ok.

A miracle occurred last night, I went to Target and only spent $11. I didn't even know such an event could happen.
Tonight is pizza Friday, and we are walking to our favorite little local place. I love this weather and pizza. I'm ridiculously excited about it!
Last night was leftover night. So, I get the kids home from dance, everyone is hungry and tired at this point, and the damn microwave quits working. Ugh! We had pb&js instead. I guess microwave shopping will go on the weekend to do list.
I'm with @starflower22 - the kid is repeating things she heard at church.
And your friend is mental.
I'm so excited it's Friday & can't wait to go home. Only an hour and a bit to go It's a 3 day weekend again and my plans is: good food (bring on the cheese!), wine, and not leaving the house unless I really must.
