Mine: I like old fashioned copper-bottomed RevereWare better than All Clad. (If you aren't familiar, a 14 piece set of RevereWare is about $150. That's the price of ONE piece of All Clad that TK and everywhere else in the world declares to be The Thing which is why 24 yo me registered for it.) We have a 20 yo hand-me-down RevereWare set at DH's bachelor pad and my grandmother has a set that's at least as old as I am. They're a joy to cook with. The large All Clad pieces I have are so heavy when they're full that I can barely lift them - and I'm not a wimpy person! Who decided draining pasta needed to be an athletic event? I didn't realize until spending this past week cooking at DH's how enjoyable "normal" pots are to cook with and how annoying my fancy dancy ones are.
To clean out the freezer in preparation of next week's move, we're having chicken pot pie tonight: frozen pie crust + frozen veggies + cream of celery soup + chicken.
And hashbrown casserole? Please. Ain't nobody ever turned down a serving of that. So what if it's made with cream of chicken.

Your turn. What nest trashy things do you like?
I also love my Revere Ware...My mother has it also and she is 90. Much better than my DD's too heavy to lift pots and pans.
I registered for (and received) a Kitchen Aid stand mixer as a wedding gift. Everyone had to have one back then (married in 2008).
The mixer is fine, it's not like it doesn't work well. But it's huge and bulky. It wasn't a problem to find cabinet space for it when I had a huge kitchen, but then we moved. Now it's just packed away in a box in my basement because I have no space for it anymore. I've been using my little Black & Decker hand mixer that I got in 1997, and it's awesome.
I'm considering getting rid of the Kitchen Aid mixer. It takes up so much space, and isn't that much more awesome than my hand mixer.

YES! Oh my gosh, totally thought I was the only person who felt this way. MIL has a vintage Hamilton Beech stand mixer that weighs a fraction of the KA and I enjoy using it. No, it can't mix cement, but ya know, that's not a requirement I put on my mixer very often.
I've seen several posts over the years calling it the nastiest pizza ever.
What did these people consider Nest Nifty pizza? Homemade only organic with fresh baby tears?
Probably. There are always mentions of local chains along with the beating down of PJs. There is a Chicago style place near us that's really good, but if I'm honest, I prefer PJs.
I'm more of a Papa Murphy's girl. I LOVE their super thin crust.
To be fair, I'm limited in my trashy chain pizza to those that tell me they use veggie rennet in their cheese (there, I found a way to be snobby about chain pizza). I'm sure there is some excellent non-veggie pizza out there that I'm just not able to experience.

I had a dry wedding. Or is that Knot trashy? LOL
I like mini-blinds, in the right setting/use. I use canned tomatoes sometimes in my cooking (gasp! cancer!) Laminate floors!
And this is just trashy, but it's a juicy confession, so I'll spill: At one point in our marriage, we had a toilet in the yard. As a planter. It took me literally 2 YEARS to convince him (R put it there - on purpose) that a toilet in the yard is trashy, no matter how many colorful flowers you put in it.

Also, while I understand that there are attachments available for the KA, I'm never going to use them. Let's be honest. I'm not going to make fresh pasta, I'm going to buy dried pasta from the supermarket. I'm not going to grind my own meat, I rarely eat meat. And I can make homemade ice cream without the ice cream maker attachment.

Okay, so go to Domino's and get an uncooked thin crust from them and make your own. Easy, and yummy. That's my favorite choice, but PMs is easier.
I dissent. I did eat Domino's as a child when nothing else was available. Now that's the nastiest pizza ever. Unless they've changed everything about it in the last 20 years. Now, Pizza Hut, I might consider doing that (PH doesn't seem as universally hated on TN, not sure why; its greasy goodness seems like it would be the one targeted). I guess I'm a pizza snob after all!
Is it Nest trashy that I had PJ pizza for breakfast this morning?

They did Three years ago they completely scrapped their recipes and started over. How did you miss that media blitz? lol Here's an article from 2009. usatoday30.usatoday.com/money/industries/food/2009-12-16-dominos16_ST_N.htm Their regular pizza is good and their pan pizza is out of this world good - it's my favorite delivery pizza.

We wear shoes in the house. *gasp*
I don't know, I guess I don't really care if I'm Nest Trashy. I could be real-life trashy and that seems worse. My kids wear clothes (and shoes for the baby) to the store, so I think I'm at least covered in that aspect.

I actually did not miss the commercials, I simply didn't believe that they would abandon their nasty cardboard-as-crust trademark. Plus with the whole rennet thing, I haven't had a reason to go back. But maybe I'll try their crust again if they'll sell me just a crust (I do that with the local place; didn't realize chains would do it too, thanks lshoes).

@juno - the domino's pan crust IS really good now. Their sauce is better too - tastes less canned and more authentic, for lack of a better word. I still prefer a local place (because we have limited chains) but I'd definitely order and plow through a domino's, given the opportunity.
I like domino's, PJs, and (embarrassing, but true) little Caesar's. I have no love for pizza hut.
So do we. Or at least we did before we moved into a construction zone with sand, leaves, rain and new floors. I am pretty sure that we will wear them in the house again, once we get the landscaping dealt with. ;p
Our laminate floor hasn't been cleaned since May 3. Before that it was last cleaned on December 24. We vacuum, sweep, and spot wipe but hardly ever wash it. Pain in my ass (I suggested we get a cleaning lady, just cuz I don't want to do this one thing).
Our laminate was put in I think in August. Other than sweeping/vacuuming, it hasn't been washed What do you use the few times you clean yours?

Wetjet juice. I have a reusable mop, but I use wetjet juice because it's one of the few floor-cleaning agents ok on laminate.
The creamery we ship our milk to supplies the cheese for 2 of the main pizza joints listed above. I'm sure the nest would ream me for being indirectly involved in some sort of corporate scheme that will cause the downfall of the world.
We've been in our house seven years and still have a patio door that goes nowhere.
I buy generic handsoap. Not all of my cleaning products are organic/homemade and grown in a field of wildflowers. Sometimes, I like me some Scrubbing Bubbles. So there.
bay area people, try Amicis. As someone who grew up in Philadelphia, and recently lived in the world of super shady cash-only Sicilian-speaking north jersey pizza joints, I beg you to try Amicis. It will never be as good as North Jersey pizza, but papa murphy's can suck it.
and papa johns was the pizza of choice after nihgts of drinking in college. it will always have a place in my heart just for its service in those drunken years.
My nest-trashy confession is my super awesome broken 1980s built-in microwave that doesn't cook food. It's now a huge built-in kitchen timer. We have another microwave that sits right there on top of our laminate countertop reflecting the glory that is our linoleum floor off of its dirty stainless surface.

I literally just choked on my water.
High-five for scrubbing bubbles. Have you tried their kitchen cleaner yet? It's a-freaking-mazing. And smells good too.
