Do you have any vacation/sick day/personal leave you could take? Do you think joining a diabetes support group might be helpful? Pregnancy hormones are no joke (I cry so much more now) & I'm sure having a hard to manga he condition on top of pregnancy makes life pretty overwhelming.
Yay for your h!!!
Yeah, I'm taking my PTO as needed but I only have about 9.5 days left bc I've been so sick this year already (thank you kidney stones!! lol)
and thank you! I was so relieved/excited when he came back and said he'd gotten the job. If I can stick it out here until the baby comes we'll be able to pad our savings so much easier than if I quit. So, that's my motivation now. haha.
We closed on our house Friday and of course, it was not without drama. I'm glad it is over. The previous owners left a brand new super nice desk chair and two tables in the garage and we are keeping them because they were so difficult to deal with throughout this entire process, and they trashed the carpets upstairs. So frustrating.
I felt icky all weekend. I took DD for a walk Saturday night after dinner. We were a mile and a half from home and I got that sweaty, shaky, HOLYCRAPIHAVETOFINDABATHROOMRIGHTNOW feeling. I had to run/walk the entire 1.5 miles home trying not to shit my pants. It was freaking awful.
I totally just dropped about half my lunch on the floor. Since I'm far too lazy to go get food (especially after heating my prepared lunch took 1/4 of my lunch break), I picked it up and ate it anyway. Flameful? I'm trying to lose weight. The last thing I want to do is hit up McDonald's, the only thing even remotely near my work.
