It's the law in CA to have it on the front and back, but I only have mine on the back. I would have to get out the screwdriver to install the plate holder to the front, which is WAY too much work! Haha!
Just back. I'm curious why lauranicole91 thinks it is dangerous.
Me too.
And seriously, my mind is blown. I never knew other states had it front and back?! WHY?!
Front and back make sense to me. After all, the purpose is to be able to identify a car. What if you can't see the car's rear plate? Having a plate on the front and back makes it easier to identify.
lol I just cant believe I never noticed it before!? I mean, we just went on a huge road trip through several states and I can honestly say I never noticed a plate in front on any car. Maybe I just wasn't looking closely. So you guys need to purchase 2 plates then for 1 car I'm assuming... Weird!!!
I just have never heard of anyone having that problem... but I guess its legit. I guess its harder to get the license plate if you have to get them ahead of you, or follow them only. Thats usually what happens here.... if you think someone needs to be reported, you get to a point where you follow them. I thought that worked fine, but I guess not! haha

What if a psychopath is following you? You'd need the front plates! Not to freak you out... lol

lol! Yeah I guess that would be helpful. But I've heard you just call the cops and not to stop driving, and/or stop at someones house with their lights on and lay on the horn.
Just back but I am in MI like sprinkles. I have never really thought about it in terms of the need to get someone's plate. All I know is plates are so damn expensive they better not start charging us for two!
