After my whole "this is all the shit my kid can't do" post, I want to talk about the awesome things he can do! Yay for positivity!
Out of nowhere, Andrew has started bringing his plate to the kitchen and putting it on the counter after he's done eating. We've never asked him to. We don't do it ourselves. I have no idea where he picked it up, but it's awesome and I will praise it all day long so it keeps happening.
What a gentleman! Owen and Hazel wrestle now. It is beyond cute to see him jump on her back and wrestle her to the ground. She is always so gentle too.
That's AMAZING. I feel the need to make them mini Mexican wrestling masks now. . . . .
Katelyn makes sounds like thank you (sounds like da-do) whenever we hand her something. She does say bye-bye while waving and will blow kisses. Unfortunately, only to her teachers and not me but its still sweet. She is helping with getting dressed.
Anna is such a little princess. She seeks out necklaces and bracelets in the morning and likes to pick out her own outfits. She'll then go and find her dolly and push it around in the stroller for a while.

Jameson wants to wrestle with Anna so badly, but she's very risk adverse and doesn't like it.
I think I've bragged this already, but Camden says please ('eeeeeeese') for things he wants. It literally kills me. I cannot POSSIBLY say no when he runs over to me with the pack of animal crackers and says EEEEEEEEEEEESE with his big blue eyes and cheeky smile.
He's also learning some new words, and his little voice is so cute!! He was just saying 'bubby' to me, like..pronouncing it perfectly, and I have no idea what it means. He will sometimes point at random things and say bubby, or run around saying bubby. I dont think he's saying baby, because I said, "You mean baby?" and he goes..."baby? bubby!" No idea. but its so cute either way. lol

He's been saying "bye bye" and waving whenever we leave the room. It is so adorable. And his hugs have become so much more real now. It's like he really understands giving hugs, kisses and saying good bye.
Also, because the little poop isn't napping he is sleeping like a ROCK STAR at night.

Bubbles maybe?
Hmmm, could be. But we have bubbles in the house and when he wants them, he grabs them and says Buh or BuhBuh. Bubby is a totally different word. But they might be related? I'm more leaning towards he just likes saying bubby and HE doesn't even know what it means, lol
Joanna has really started understanding things we say a lot more lately, and I think it is really neat. She is also great at make-believe cooking. She even took some make-believe food out of one bowl and put it in another bowl yesterday. It's funny the things that make me proud these days. lol
Our speech therapist was trying to get V to make believe with pretend food and V kept looking in the empty bowls and cups and then looking back at us like we were insane. Like, "umm.... guys... there is NOTHING in there, you freaks"

B understands everything. She only has 5 words, and only one if those she says regularly, buy she understands everything. She knows most of the parts of her face and body. She likes to help put the groceries away. She pulls food put of the bags (they're on the floor because e have like 2 fret if counterspace) and hands it to me or H.

Melody now says water (wah-der) and milk. When she says water I die. It is too cute!
She has also been all about the kisses and cuddles lately. Not real cuddles, but she'll lay her head on a pillow (pin-do when she says it) and demands I or Dh lay next to her, then gives kisses.
She has also named raisins din-dar. Her bracelets are called pin-Dee (pretty).
And she does a little troll dance that is hilarious, especially when Dh does it with her!

Aahh I know, its so hard saying no in the first place when they are being sweet, but adding please to the mix?! I can't get Cam to say the 'p' part though. He just says eeeeee or eeeese with the funny grin - its more of the sound than the word. So then I say, "Puh puh PLEASE" and he goes "Puh puh. EEEEEEEEE" hahaha
Olivia said her first 3 word sentence this week and hasn't stopped since. I'm amazed everyday.
She also walked around the party we were at tonight with an older girl. It only lasted less than a minute but for her, to leave my side for a second was remarkable!
Thad never ever ever shuts up. He talks all day and (almost) none if it makes sense. At night, he pretends with his trucks. He puts a driver in, drives, takes the driver out, walks him around and makes him talk, then does it all over again! So cute !!!!!
The girls wrestle too. Well Calista lays on the ground and Lydia wrestles her. It is cute, Calista laughs the whole time.
Calista has started to let go of things and stand independently for a few seconds.
Lydia got a blow up sword from a party yesterday so we blew it up. I "crowned" her with putting the sword on each shoulder. I told her she was now princess Lydia. She then went to crown dh and crowned him princess daddy. Dh asked if he could be a king instead. "I now crown you princess king daddy!"
Lily now says "Peace. See ya!" When leaving a room or going to bed. She still says bye bye and waves or says night-night too... but I love the new phrase.
She also learned the word cake. And stood at the counter where the cake was and said cake please! all day today...
When we are in the garden Matilda has been going around with her little pot and collecting acorns, today she handed me the pot with five acorns in it!
She now feeds ozzy and kitty. I get the scoop of food and she carries it carefully to the bowl and pours it in (or all over the floor). Today at 6pm she started banging on the pantry door saying "ozzy ozzy", she knew it was his dinner time! Perhaps they communicate.
After being terrified of the bath for months, now she loves it and it is one of her words. She asks for "bath. BATH." After giving her like two baths a week for months because of the screaming and clawing at the side, now I have to limit her to only one in the day. I like it because I can put the toilet lid down, sit there zone out and drink coke while she splashes.
Dd says,"here go" when handing us something, she has learned where her belly button is and she is starting to stand independently for a few seconds. She also says hi whenever someone new walks in and has a special way she says mommy and daddy. Melts our hearts.

G is babbling the occasional consonant sound more frequently. Big news here
This is my real brag: so G does have an expressive speech delay that qualifies him for EI services. They test 1) expressive language and 2) receptive language together for part of the evaluation. He actually scored at an 18 month level for that combined section because his receptive language development is *so* high, even though he has 0 words--which drags down his expressive score, obviously. I was really proud that he understands so much that his language development still "averaged" at 18 months given his delay. We knew he had a large vocabulary even though he doesn't speak words!

Andrew is starting to form mini-sentences. He says "yes please" and "no thank you". He is understanding and saying so much, people think he's a 2 year old (not to mention he's a little beast). He was a hit at the wedding and my FB friends can see one of the videos of him dancing. He was hilarious. Here is a pic of him, and a family selfie from yesterday:
