I usually leave spiders I find inside the house alone. I let them chill in the corner of the room or something if they seem to be content there. As long as they aren't in my bed, they can live. And no, I don't actually use Raid in any form. I'm just keeping up my internet schtick here.
Kevin, if you use Raid, isn't my business, I was just giving you hell. That is my schtick, too. lol.
If you aren't scared (and I totally respect that people are scared, I am afraid of planes), this is a cute video of Grechin, a guy's pet spider. She is mesmerized by the red camera light. The video is about 4 minutes too long, I just love their quick mannerisms/curiosity.
i am fucking terrified of spiders, but i tried to be brave and click that. and then as soon as it popped up i yelled "AHHH MOTHERFUCKER" (my dogs jumped and ran away) and closed the window.

i just can't, man. i tried.
it's like my irrational fear that every youtube video is going to end with a face popping up and screaming at me, so I always pause the video and scroll through it first to make sure there aren't any scary faces. but it was a whole 8 minute video of scary faces.

lolol yes. like...i knew it was going to be a spider, but i tried, and then i tried to look away and only look with my peripheral vision, BUT EVERYTHING ON THE SIDEBAR OF RELATED VIDEOS WAS HORRIFYING
Not when they are jumping on me and biting me. Or worse, taking out entire towns.
lol what? Oh, you mean Arachnophobia?
Isn't there another movie where the people got stuck inside a grocery store and there's this mist/fog outside. I think that had spiders taking over the town too or am I losing it?

The Mist - based on a Stephen King novella
The video of the spider almost gave me a panic attack...and I'm leaving it up for H when he gets home. muhahahaha
Spiders OUTSIDE don't bother me. I get pissy when H kills them. Spiders INSIDE meet their end.

Are jumping spiders the teensy little zebra-striped house spiders? I've never looked closely enough to see if they're furry.
You guys would think my 3-YO is nuts. I was watching that spider video and she came over, plopped in my lap and started giving me a play-by-play. "That spider is really cool! He's on a cup. He's very cute. He wants me to hold him and he will tickle my skin. That spider loves to get kisses from me every day."
This is the girl who recently had an imaginary pet tarantula.

Jumping spiders are small, and even though I have a thing about spiders, I have "played" with one of these before. I put my pinky fingertip down about an inch in front of one. If I moved my figer toward it, it backed up the exact same distance. If I pulled my fingertip away, it moved forward the same distance. If I moved my finger to the side, it moved too. It was very cute, for a spider.
