I had a review of sorts yesterday. Seems they like to do a review midway in the probationary period.
The boss said "we can get a conference room if you'd like to talk about anything, but I think it's going well and I don't have any issues. Pretty much, I'm happy if you're happy".
::preen::
My confession is I'm tired. Because I stayed up too late. Having sex.
She's going to be 8 on Monday. She's excited and scared all at once. I got mine done when I was 12 (I think?), but my ears were super sensitive and I let my holes close up.
It'll depend on what time we go out. But I might take her to get fancy hot chocolate or to the bookstore--something to reward her for being brave (she's kind of iffy about shots/pain). She's super excited, all of her friends have pierced ears so it's a big thing.

This sounds like such a sweet, fun day planned just the two of you. She will love it.
I got my ears pierced in the fourth grade, but I eventually let the holes close up and I never got it redone. Oops. I should probably do that.
I was up late too. Cleaning and watching the Sox lose. At one point last night I felt ahead, and then I felt really behind again, lol. Fml. I suck at cleaning so far in advance. I spent a lot of time cleaning (like with soap and water) all of the doors, baseboards and molding downstairs. Stuff that could have been skipped, or waited til the end when the rest was done. So now my house is still messy (as in stuff, laundry, etc) but my baseboards are spotless.
Motzie, I do that kind of thing too. It's like some weird non-procrastination procrastination technique. Or something.
My other random, maybe a mild confession: I'm irritated that my Amazon order didn't arrive yesterday like they said it would because I wantes to use the shampoo & conditioner today. All because I hate the ones I've been using.

I'm sure your baseboards are beautiful, Motzie! I do the same thing.
Now that you are all awake, my confession:
I wanted to put it here because of the Facebook stuff. I'm sure you'll see it mentioned, so I didn't want everyone going "omg! Did you know PS....!" It's not a secret IRL, and I think I mentioned it here before (well, old TIP) a long time ago...
My husbands doesn't drive. He doesn't have a license.

~gasp~ NO! He is shunned!
Just kidding.
Any reason why? I didn't get my license until I was older. I was scared to have that much metal in my control

lol!
Mostly his anxiety and medication for said anxiety.
The few times I've taken him, he's been terrible. Like, really bad. No depth perception and he just panics over everything. And he never gotten out of first gear. In a giant empty parking lot.
Add that to the medication that pretty much makes him unaware of his surroundings and it's a disaster.

I'm pretty sure everyone wrote him of as a bum.
Though at the time I think I was frustrated that he didn't have one.
It took me a long time to understand why he couldn't have a license and it took him even longer to come to terms with and admit he'd probably never have one.

Ah, that makes more sense. The board was probably just feeding off whatever it was that you said in the thread.
Although, now all the stress you were in with the new job and pre-move commute and getting the new house ready to move in makes more sense.
