We just moved here, so I'm not sure what to expect. It's apartments, but they're like townhouses with their own front doors off the street. There are a lot of kids around here, so we'll see.

In my aunt and uncle's neighborhood the parents that take the kids around take glasses or mugs with them and get them filled with adult beverages. They live in a really fun neighborhood.
This is our first Halloween to have TOTs! I'm beyond excited right now. The first 5 years, we lived in the middle of nowhere and nobody ever showed up. The last one, we were in an apartment. This year we are in a house!

I was so excited the first year we lived in our house and had TOTers... I'd NEVER passed out candy before because of where I'd lived. It's fun. The rain has let up and there are more kids out and about now.

I think I'm going to make myself a drink and pull out one of our ghetto lawn chairs and sit on the porch. We don't have any furniture in our living room yet, I can't be OPENING AND CLOSING the door all night!
So far we have had 7 (all a bit older and TOTing alone). It isn't raining but its pretty dreary out so I am sure families with the little ones are staying home. This makes me sad because I love to see the wee ones all dressed up.
We usually get over 100. We are going to have so much candy left.

So far I had one ring my bell even though the lights are off, so of course Roxie flipped her shit. Grr. Lights off, curtains drawn, inside lights off. Not sure how more clear I can be. Yes, I'm a grinch.
Peeking out occasionally from an upstairs window, I have only seen a few groups of maybe 2-3 kids each walking around. It's cold and raining here, though.

Weve only had 15 so far. Way fewer than normal. Another hour to go. Hope DH's office likes candy. I think the nurses are getting some at blood check tomorrow too.
