Why the need for all "cream of _____" soups in one dish? Why not just stick to one? I don't mind that kind of stuff once in a blue moon, like at a potluck, but not for a nice dinner. I can't imagine how much sodium is going to be in that casserole either!!
All three seems like a lot though. The most I've used is two.
And it's usually not for a nice dinner, it's a comfort meal type thing.
OP - do you usually like salty casserole type dishes? If so, it probably will taste at least decent. Is she serving any veggies or other sides with it?

I love salt!! That is the only reason I'm willing to even try it. lol
IDK what she's serving with it. I just happened to run over there while she was putting it together and saw it. It looked like ick.

I have no idea! She also put in one of those Lipton Onion soup mix. I outright asked her why she didn't just put onion in there, or at least onion powder. She said "Well the recipe said."

I bet you'll like it then. They usually look pretty gross before they're cooked (sometimes even after they're cooked) but taste good.
Considering I made a tuna casserole last night with 2 cans of cream of mushroom, 3 cups of shredded cheese and a Ritz cracker crust, I think it's fair to say that I'd chow down on all of that.
I don't care if people think it's gross or trashy or whatever. I love cream of crap-based dishes.

Yeah, she's borderline with the onion soup. My favorite CoC is my mom's chicken and stuffing casserole. I had her make it for me after DD was born. She also made a batch of her CoC broccoli casserole. DH was amazed...and bloated.
She needs to ditch one of the cream of's, and the onion soup. Add broccoli, and top with cheddar cheese and bread crumbs. Now you're working with something.

I LOVE tuna casserole, but DH hates it so I never make it.

I was craving it, and I was delighted that Thor was on board. I haven't made it in ages, and I didn't know his stance. He ate a lot of it. But there's still plenty leftover. Yay!
I have two one-eyed cats! They were both feral rescues adopted 10 years apart. The first time my sister told me that no one would adopt the poor thing, so I had to. That's also the line I used on DH to get the second one!

Was yours a rescue, too?
She was! And she's not telling anyone how it happened.
She is the sweetest, silliest, floppiest thing. She is the love of my life. I am so obsessed!

Aww, that's so sweet. When I adopted my oldest, she still had the stitches in her eye and she was the scrawniest thing you've ever seen. I cried when I took her to the vet to have them taken out.
I could ramble like a crazy cat lady all day, lol.
I always make chicken and rice with two different flavors of cream of crap. It looks really gross before it starts cooking, but it's always yummy. I also love me some salt, so there's that.

I've had this growing up but just with two soups--chicken and mushroom--and the onion soup mix. As a fan of a well-deployed cream soup on occasion, it is delicious.
My mom's chicken and rice recipe includes cream of mushroom and a lipton onion soup packet. It is so good! I'm not seeing the need for the extra cream of crap soups, but, hey, it's bound to be tasty at least.
