I take off my rings for most of my runs. My hands swell and it makes them hurt. Even when they don't swell I am all paranoid about it and it drives me nuts.
I've recently (since June or so) started taking mine off for workouts. I can't lose weight in my midsection, but apparently I can in my fingers, and I'm always worried they will fall off. If my fingers were swelling, I would take them off for that, too.

I don't wear my rings to work out. I also don't sleep in them, and since I work out in the AM it's not a matter of taking them off...I haven't put them on for the day yet.

I also don't sleep in mine lately. My hands get SO DRY overnight and I slather them in lotion and hate having my rings on any time around when I am motioning. I also don't wear them to lift or to boot camp/TRX so I feel like I am never wearing my rings anymore.
I take off my e ring because the diamond swings down and scratches up my pinkie and it's uncomfortable. I don't mind running in my wedding band though. My rings are all loose, I have big knuckles that keep them from falling off.

I take them off for cooking, cleaning, bedtime, and when I'm lifting weights. I wear them even when swimming so running, yes. I have them on most of the time really.

Usually, mainly because I forget to take them off. I usually do it during particular times of the month because my fingers do swell up a bit more then.
