5. Any other fun fact/random thought/thing you'd like to share? I can't really think of anything right now.
DH brews his own craft brews & has gotten quite good at it. He hates his job in IT. I fully encourage him to explore his passion & I 'll happily market us. There's a future brewery a'brewing in the clseale household. In the meantime, he has to keep his job. Lol
This is my DH's dream too. We joke that if we move closer to home (there's potential for a few jobs for me there), he'll just start brewing. I mentioned this to the owner of the ice cream shop I used to work at and he said he always wanted to put a brewery in the building too so maybe it will happen someday. Until then, his homebrews will have to do. We should trade

1. Married for 12 years, two kids (7 and almost 5), two dogs (12 and 11), and a cat (13). 2. I work part time for an environmental consulting company. My focus is on water resources - particularly stormwater. 3. Year round my main workouts are running, kickboxing, and bootcamp. Starting next week we'll add in alpine skiing for the season! 4. This will sound cheesy, but just some good family time. We almost lost our mom earlier this year so this will be a cherished Christmas. 5. I'm pretty sure I got my first job out of college because of my great, great, great, great uncle who died in 1838. I can't be certain he is the reason, but I know there were hundreds of applicants (wasn't a professional type job) and the interviewer and I bonded over my uncle. I think it made me stand out.
5. Any other fun fact/random thought/thing you'd like to share? mmmm I work in a pretty small office (12 people) and no one talks to each other. It is very odd. My last office was loud and friendly and social and this office, everyone just sits in their own room and stays silent all day. It's quite lonely.
1. Married/kids/pets? Married (today is actually my 3 year wedding anniversary!), with a 1-year-old daughter, and a 9 year old chocolate lab.
2. What do you do for a living? PM for a consulting company.
3. Fitness activities you enjoy? Running, yoga, BodyPump, Pilates, some biking.
4. One thing you want most for Christmas? To win the Lotto. Realistically, I'd like to replace one of my favorite gold bracelets that I wore nearly every day that broke a few months back.
5. Any other fun fact/random thought/thing you'd like to share? My mom went to high school with the voice of Ariel from the Little Mermaid, and my FIL played high school football with Rudy from the movie "Rudy." How's that for random?
I'm still fairly new and know there are others on this board like me. Plus this might come in handy for the Holiday Gift Exchange. So if you care to share:

2. What do you do for a living? I work per diem but practically a SAHM -- I'm a nurse
3. Fitness activities you enjoy? swimming since I learned it just a couple months ago, yoga, hiking, running in warmer weather
4. One thing you want most for Christmas? vacation in Europe, not sure yet if we'll be able to go in spring
5. Any other fun fact/random thought/thing you'd like to share? I hate the taste of wines or any alcohol for that matter and I will never understand why people like them.

1. Married/kids/pets? I'm 38, married for 8 years, committed DINKS, but 2 kitties. Winston is 4 and Roxie is 6 months. We adopted them in July after our kitty passed away suddenly on Valentine's Day.
2. What do you do for a living? I work for a land-grant university's Cooperative Extension program. In 15 years I've done everything from watershed management to coastal hazard (hurricane) outreach to O&E on working waterfront preservation. It's not as exciting as it all sounds.
3. Fitness activities you enjoy? Running, weights, yoga/pilates. I'd like to bike more and take some swim lessons since I'm afraid of putting my face in the water. Ironic since I grew up at the beach.
4. One thing you want most for Christmas? To lose the boot and crutches and my foot to miraculously heal. Barring that, the Garmin 220. Neither of these things seem likely.
5. Any other fun fact/random thought/thing you'd like to share? I live in the town where Mardi Gras started. DH and I both are in krewes and one night a year dress up in a costume, get really drunk, and throw beads and moonpies at people from a float. It's the closest thing to being a rock star that I will ever do.
1) I have been married 4 years/ 1 dd and one on the way/ 3 dogs, Bella, cooper, and Carmel 2) I am currently working in property management but also in school to become a nurse 3) running is my activity of choice 4) I currently will be asking for gift cards to buy maternity clothes other than that would love a food processor 5) random thing about me is I used to be a ballet dancer and was once Clara in the Nutcracker
1. Married/kids/pets? I'm married and have 3 daughters, aged 16, 9, and 3. We are also the proud owners of what might be the dumbest cat on the planet.
2. What do you do for a living? I'm in my first year as the dean of students at a high school. For the last 18 years, I was a teacher.
3. Fitness activities you enjoy? Running, body pump. I'm pretty boring.
4. One thing you want most for Christmas? Honestly? Cash money. To play along, I'd say...new running shoes, arm warmers, a new ear warmer, wireless headphones.
5. Any other fun fact/random thought/thing you'd like to share? You guys know so much about me already...umm...oh! I was last place at the state cross country meet my sophomore year. Dead effing last. By a lot. Which is funny to me now, since all I like to do is run. My hs coach just shakes his head at my marathoning.

4. One thing you want most for Christmas? My wish list is getting pretty long but my bigger things are athleta windwarrior tights and uggs - i have the regular ones but i have my eye on the slouchy sweater material uggs - i would never spend 160 dollars on myself but if DH does it's ok!
5. Any other fun fact/random thought/thing you'd like to share? I can't think of anything interesting at the moment but if i do I will report back!

1. Married/kids/pets? Yes, no, yes. 1 husband, 1 cat, and 1 dog.
2. What do you do for a living? I am a medical analyst.
3. Fitness activities you enjoy? Swimming. To some extent, I'll add in spinning and group fitness classes. I'm still working on learning to really love (or even enjoy) running.
4. One thing you want most for Christmas? About $20k so that I can get this shed project done professionally?
5. Any other fun fact/random thought/thing you'd like to share? I am so unflexible, I really should get into yoga, but every time I try, I wind up picturing myself doing the poses from an "above" point of view and then giggling so hard about how stupid I look that I will literally fall over laughing. This makes me fearful of trying yoga in a studio setting. LOL
5. Any other fun fact/random thought/thing you'd like to share? I hate the taste of wines or any alcohol for that matter and I will never understand why people like them.
OMG me too. I always feel so weird when people offer me a drink and I'm just like uhhh, nah, no thanks... no really. I really don't want one. I just really hate the taste of alcohol. I think I've only been drunk maybe twice? I just don't get it.
4. One thing you want most for Christmas? Garmin watch
5. Any other fun fact/random thought/thing you'd like to share? My husband is in the military. We have lived in Ohio, California, and now Montana. I can't wait to find out where we're going next. I love living all over the place! I will be a little sad when he gets out of the service.
1. Married/kids/pets? Married, one baby boy (4 months, named AJ), and two dogs (Georgie the beagle mix and Eddie the underwear eating pit mix)
I busted out laughing at the underwear eating.. My dogs are such pervs, diva will dig them out of the laundry basket then share with Wyatt. Wtf. I've seen her twice this week jumping up on the laundry basket- it's a tall one, so she can't get in, but anything In the baskets that are her height are fair game.
Eddie has been broken of this nasty little habit for almost 2.5 years...and fell off the wagon in the last week. So now I have to remember to make sure dirty clothes get in the hamper and 2. keep the bedroom door closed at all times. He's lucky he's cute.
I'm still fairly new and know there are others on this board like me. Plus this might come in handy for the Holiday Gift Exchange. So if you care to share:
1. Married/kids/pets? Married for 8.5 years, 2 daughters, 1 fat cat
2. What do you do for a living? SAHM
3. Fitness activities you enjoy? mostly running, but I also pretend that I bike
4. One thing you want most for Christmas? A new car. Bwahahahaha.
5. Any other fun fact/random thought/thing you'd like to share? I have never been pulled over by a cop. I'll probably cry the first time it happens.
1. Married 3.5 yrs, but together for 13. No kids yet , though DH is wearing me down. No pets, but I'm trying to convince DH that we're ready for another dog. I told him, no dog, no kids. Lol!
2. I do brand marketing for a mid-sized restaurant franchise.
3. I mostly just run & do yoga. DH & I want to get kayaks for the FL summer months...though I'd like to leave FL. We'll see.
4. No big Christmas wishes. I'd like us to forgo big gifts & plan a big trip for next spring.
5. DH brews his own craft brews & has gotten quite good at it. He hates his job in IT. I fully encourage him to explore his passion & I 'll happily market us. There's a future brewery a'brewing in the clseale household. In the meantime, he has to keep his job. Lol
I would like to officially volunteer to be a beer taster for the clseale brewery. I'm quite certain Mr. Runaways would also be game.
+1 (actually ... probably +2 for Mr. LHH as well. )
5. My H and I are big travelers- we are working on visiting all 50 states together. And for each other's birthdays (his is in Oct., mine is in April), our main gift to each other is a surprise trip. We plan the entire trip, and only tell the other person how to pack. We usually wait until we get to the airport to tell the destination (and sometimes even longer if we are able to!)
This is so awesome! I have no idea how I'd be able to surprise DH every year -- or how I'd keep the secret till the airport!
I feel like I look like every other woman in America - DH sometimes jokes that I'm Jane Doe. I don't really have any distinguishing features.
This is totally me too. I'm brown/blonde hair, brown eyes and I have at LEAST two people every week tell me I look like someone they know. Because I look like EVERYONE.
1. Married/kids/pets? I've been married almost 5 years. We have 2 big, lovable dogs. Calvin the lab/bulldog/everything mix, and Boo the American Bulldog. We want kids in that illusive "someday" timeframe.
2. What do you do for a living? My husband & I dairy farm with his family. I also have a super small part-time job doing some writing, coordinating & social media development for food & ag education within our state.
3. Fitness activities you enjoy? Mostly running. My favorite distances are half marathon & marathon.
4. One thing you want most for Christmas? A day off to just relax & catch up. I'm also love books, coffee, chocolate, wine, kitchen gadgets, & running stuff.
5. Any other fun fact/random thought/thing you'd like to share? Yes, a few fun facts:
I have 4 sisters & loved growing up in a big family.
I enjoy traveling even though we rarely go very far now that we farm. I really hope to go back to Italy & Germany someday. Plus see Asia & the Middle East. So many places I want to go.
This summer we raised a small flock of poultry in our yard. Big learning experience. I just picked up our whole, frozen turkeys & chickens this morning, which is why it's on my brain. We butchered a few ourselves & then I found a processor to do the rest. Holy cow did it ever make me appreciate the work behind it!
@mn06 - one of my favorite signs at the Philly half this weekend was something about CHANNING TATUM IS WAITING AT THE FINISH LINE WITH PUPPIES.
(Irrelevant: I also enjoyed, "Look at you, all running and shit!" and "My last marathon was Breaking Bad.")
My house blog is at guinsyard.wordpress.com. It is pretty slow going, but I have fun with it. It always seems like house projects and training for major races are an either/or proposition.
