In Houston, we just call it "summer." We're not having a wave of any sort, so I think it's extra foolishness for people to talk about how damn hot it is when it's always this damn hot.

I've got a cousin that grew up in Seattle then moved to Dallas - he's dying out there, goes from AC in house to AC at work to pool at home. Rinse and repeat all summer
Dude, it's so hot in Missouri right now that cow patties are spontaneously combusting and causing field/brush fires! Yes, I'm totally serious.
You win the internet for today. I just burst out laughing.
Since this is CEP and all, I'm going to have to ask for your source.
LOL Well my source is sitting right next to me in our office. It was her neighbor's field. Apparently there were a couple of spots in their field smouldering and no evidence of anything flame causing like cig butts or bottle rockets. But there were cow patties in the middle of these spots.

Yes, that is true. However, I prefer it from going from heat to heat all winter. I hate the process of getting dressed, putting on all my winter gear, shoveling out behind the car or scraping the windshield, which makes me all sweaty in my clothes. At least in the heat, you just put on what you want to wear and go...
Oddly, Dallas is hotter in the summer and colder in the winter than Houston. He should really have come here instead.
Oh, hawaii. How will I ever leave? Low 80s again today. Just like probably 10 months of the year.
Pretty sure we are going to Kauai again in march cause the weather is just so damn good in Hawaii. And it would be like minus 10 here that time of the year, sooooo.
