i mean, if i count random Caribbean islands through years of cruising with my parents, it's a lot higher than i originally thought. somewhere in the 20-30 range.

I've been to 12 countries, 9 I did while studying abroad in Rome. My bucket list is all countries and all states but I doubt that will happen but you never know.
Canada, US, DR, St. Lucia, Jamaica, Barbados, St. Vincent, England, France, Holland, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Poland, Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia, Oman, UAE, Bahrain...
So 19, except 2 of them I was very young for. And technically, I have been to 17 of them before the age of 18. Only new countries I have been to since turning 18 are St. Lucia and Oman.
Oh, 21 if I count the Vatican and Monaco separately, which I didn't...
I have been to 7. If I count the stops to the Bahamas and Haiti on a cruise, it would be 9. I hesitate to include those because I feel like it isn't a representative experience of the country.
I'm not. But I am including countries I went to before I was 18 (not sure why they shouldn't be included).
I would say if you just stayed in the airport, you can not count it. But if you went out and roamed around even for a few hours, then yes. It's all about technicality
