I'm due July 12 and am planning on taking the last week of June off to use up vacation days that can't roll over, so I'm hoping to have her that last week in June so I don't have to come back. But if not I'll be working up until I deliver. It will be a slow time at work so it shouldn't be too bad.

I just started drafting my proposal last night. I'm planning to ask to work the 2 weeks prior to my due date from home, but I plan to work up until I go into labor.

I'll work up until I go into labor unless the doctor prescribes something different. I won't have any PTO accrued when I go into labor so the first 2 weeks I'm out will be unpaid until FMLA kicks in, so I want to stay at work as long as possible.
I'm due 8/3. I went into labor at 35 weeks with DD, so my OB won't let me work past 36 weeks assuming I make it that far.
I'll use STD for the weeks prior to delivery, and won't touch my vacation time until after delivery, so I should still be able to take the same amount of time I had initially planned on (6mos post baby).

I'm due April 17. I plan on having my last day of work be April 4. Originally, I was going to have my last day be April 11 but I drive a lot for my job and I'm in and out of my car, walking around school campuses and I work 45 miles from home/hospital/family. Something about being at a middle school and having my water break and having to drive myself home or to the hospital freaks me out.
I'll see how I feel as the time gets closer. Maybe I'll be in the position to work past the 4th but that is my plan so far.
With DD, I started it when I went into labor. I felt great until the end and preferred to have days with the baby than days before. Now, I freelance and have no idea what to do. I am afraid of taking anything on that will overlap with my due date. I imagine it would be pretty miserable to have a newborn and have a deadline hanging over my head.
I will probably try to work from home for a few weeks before my due date, or do half days at work and half days at home, right up until I go into labor (or unless my doctor advises differently).

I'm playing it all by ear. I'm due 5/19. I can't *really* work for home and working up till my due date will be rather light since our semester ends 2 weeks before. We shall see how I feel.

I am due April 18, but because I need to do a planned c-section they said it would be scheduled for the week of April 7th (39th week). My plan is to make April 1 be my last day at work, so a week before planned c-sec and 2 weeks before due date.
I planned to go out a week before ds was born, but went into labor just shy of 33 weeks and was put on bedrest, so while the above is my "plan" I will go with whatever ends up happening.

I'm due a week from Sunday and I'm in the office today. I'm debating whether to go into the office on Tuesday (I'm off for MLK day Monday). Regardless, I will work from home until I go into labor.

Due 3/2 & last day 2/14. I am going to (mostly) SAH after baby is born and I commute 1.25+ hours each way, so I didn't want to be so far from home/the hospital and spending that much time in the car.
I work in a school, but we don't use our sick days, just the 6 weeks paid they offer and up to 6 weeks unpaid through FMLA. Pretty sure you have to start mat leave the day you deliver unless a doctor "prescribes" otherwise. A coworker friend of mine just asked me today what the plan is in case I go into labor at work. That freaked me out. Yep.
My work situation is unique...I work for family and a majority of what I do is from home. So, I'll probably work until I get induced next month/go into labor if it happens earlier than 39 weeks. But, I can adjust my hours if I start to not feel good/get too tired so it'll really depend on how I feel.

You're getting so close! Just curious-are you taking any precautions in case you go into labor or your water breaks at work?

I'm due 2 weeks from Sunday. I am going to have next week be my last full week. I am on my feet all day and it's getting pretty tiring. I worked yesterday from 10 to 8 and wanted to die.
Frankly, I have no idea. I'm allowed to WFH, but my client prefers me to be in the office (I rarely interact with her but she's a control freak). My boss is really supportive of working moms though so she may step in and negotiate on my behalf.
Ideally, I'd like to WFH starting 2 weeks prior to my due date. My greatest fear is having my water break while at work. There's also the issue of parking - due to shitty site planning I have to park about a mile from my office building and after talking with my coworker, getting a handicap hang tag will do me absolutely no good since there are more disabled employees than spots as it is. Middle/senior management get the majority of the parking spaces that are close to the building (reserved) and the rest are taken by 6 am. I hate where I work. If I'm at work and something happens I literally will have to haul myself through an isolated path in the woods to get to my car.

Teacher. I am due the first week of may. The state test at the end of the high school course I teach is generally the 2nd or 3rd week of May. As a result, I really, really don't want to miss too many days because it is my duty to prepare my kids for the test. So, I'll be working until the bitter end, even if I go overdue.
At the moment (until I have had my scan) my due is 20 September. I will officially start my maternity leave the week before I am due and take my 6 weeks of annual leave from 1 August. So basically I will stop working at 32/33 weeks. That works for me as I was put onto bedrest with DS at 32 weeks. Also you have to start your maternity leave when baby is born and I won't be allowed to go over my due date because of complications I had with DS so I have to take that leave way in advance. And DS's school holiday's run from the last week in July until the first week in September.

I probably should huh? My commute is about an hour - the thought of being in labor on the Metro is not a pleasant one. I told my boss I would be in the office Tuesday, maybe I'll bring a towel just in case
