+1.7 I felt really sick last week, worked a lot, and gave into the temptation of not cooking. This weekend wasn't great, but picking myself up, brushing myself off, and trying to focus again this week.

I made a weight loss and/or body composition rewards chart for myself this past week - like, when I get to this certain weight, I get a museum membership or a (budgeted) trip to the bookstore, and I think it helped my motivation.
pennypenny I can sympathize with you. I'm breastfeeding, too, and I really don't want to deal with a drop in supply. The nursing makes me so hungry! Good luck to you this week. We can do it!
-0.4lb. Not too shabby. I did a better job of tracking what I ate this week and it shows. Didn't get to the gym like I had hoped due to late nights working and getting a cold. As long as the snow cooperates with its timing I should be able to get in 3-4 days this week. My goal is 3 days of my usual workout and a 4th day of straight cardio on the eliptical.
Stayed the same. Been so busy packing we have been eating what ever we have left in the fridge and fast food. I am a little surprised I didn't gain, cause my pants were a tiny bit tight yesterday.

Down .6. Fits with what I'm trying to do, which is lose 1/2 lb a week by making small changes in my life that I want to keep on doing the rest of my life (walk more, eat slightly smaller portions, make some better food choices). I'm actually surprised that I lost anything after my weekend of partying (something to stop doing at 45 as the hangover lasted about 36 hours...as in just about an hour ago it really passed at 1pm).

This is frustrating. I just knew I lost this week. My clothes are fitting better and everything. I know the scale isn't everything, but it is validation for hard work, IMO. I know I could get to the gym more, but it is hard with an infant at home and I need the extra calories to BF. I am worried if I reduce the calories my supply will drop and I already am not pumping enough everyday. Ugh.
The clothing fitting better is a good thing. Keep your focus on that. And remind yourself that your weight is not as important as feeding your little one. You'll have plenty of time to drop weight after this period of time is done. Good luck!!! And be kind to yourself.
