February 8
I like the Jetta I'm looking at, but then my dad mention about 2 Focuses sitting down in **. So I look them up and find the one is really nice. The one I like of those is the same year as the Jetta and has about the same mileage on it. They are close to the same price too. Now I have an even bigger decision to make. Jetta, which I really like but not a lot of room on the inside, or Focus, which is my favorite kind of car and I know the parts aren't any where the cost of what a Jetta would be if that would need something replaced. This one is hard. I will have to test drive them both. (reply to replies) Yeah I have had 2. I had the one from end of 2003 til end of 2009. The last one I have which right now is waiting to go to the scrap yard I had for 2 years, most of which we spent fixing, until the motor went back at the beginning of July. I like them, but when I seen the Jetta I just had the feeling that it was my car. When I looked at the pictures of the Focus it just doesn't give me that feeling. I haven't had that feeling for a vehicle since I bought my first Focus. Once we have our money I can decide from there.

I'm so torn about what to do. I keep thinking about it, and listening to what everyone is saying, but really it comes down to what I like and want and I know that. When buying a car new or used doesn't matter, has anyone ever come upon a car that when you see it and sit in it that you just know it was meant for you? I have only had the feeling one other time with a vehicle and that was back at the end 2003 when I bought my tan Focus. I want a vehicle that is good on gas. Safe for my child to be, because as most people know that my van right now is far from being safe my the kids to really be in, I want something that I love. Now I'm going to try and relax and hope that soon I will be to go find a reliable safe vehicle. Have a good evening/night everyone! (replies to replies)Oh, I think I have already found it. It's just I know the expense if something goes wrong might be more than I want to pay, but it would be cheaper than now with a vehicle that should have never been sold to anyone in the first place. Yeah I know what you mean about the wedding dress. I felt that way today when I sat in the car I was looking for. The price isn't to my liking, but that is always something to talk about with the owner of the lot. I refuse to buy from a private owner ever again for a safe vehicle for my kids. Last one didn't work out too well when we were told it would only need a $20 fix and turned into at least $300 to start and now if I fixed it it would be $3000. I already looked there before. Nothing got me like the car I sat in today. It has been at the car lot that it is at for a while now. Longer over the Audi, Equinox, the other Audi, and the Passat that I wanted. Like it is waiting for me to come buy it. Well, driving my van since 2010 with it breaking down or just fixing something every other month, I do deserve a vehicle that will be safe for both the kids to be in and fun for me to drive.

Well, looks like not going to get a car today. Maybe tomorrow. If not better be able to go on Friday. Getting tired of not be able to get van started on these really cold mornings. Now if I could get my sinuses drained. I hate when I have feel like this and sensitive to bright lights. Also have to get DD's temp back down. Good thing that is all it is. Anyway have a good day everyone!

She's displaying a rather surprising amount of self-awareness at the beginning of the 2/8 post, in admitting that she's listened to everyone else but will end up doing whatever the hell she wants anyway.

Also, here, have a seat. Just watch out for the wholes.
I am dumbfounded and I totally pasted out just reading those! How old is she? I picture an older woman with no one to talk to, but obviously that is not the case.
