I can breathe through my nose! Hurrah! I'm convinced it's because DH stayed home yesterday. That's a nice romantic Valentine thought, right? I got flowers this morning, and he got popcorn. Everyone is happy. My inlaws are on their way. I'm still hoping we get to go to the Scottish Festival over the presidential library this weekend.
I have a plugged duct(/multiple plugged ducts?) on my left side and I'm pretty sure it has to be holding about 5 ounces based on the pain and sheer size/hardness. I've already talked to both the LC, who said to pump/nurse/apply heat/massage and put pressure/take Lecithin, and my doctor, who prescribed meds to stave off an infection which she's concerned it could become since it's a second plug in a few weeks. I keep ending up sleeping on my stomach, which isn't helping.
Dr. Google said that I might have to have DH help me by sucking it out himself, but I really, REALLY don't want to get to that point (and either does he).
I had this issue for almost 6m. Lecithin and nursing worked for me, but it would take a couple sessions.
There is no way in hell I would have DH suck it out.

Have you tried dangle feeding your LO? That helped clear clogs for me on more than one occasion. You could also try combing the clog with a wide-toothed comb in the shower. ((Hugs)) Plugged ducts sucks!
