The one thing that stands out to me is all your names end with a except for one. I might try to think of a few other options that sound a little different.
This is a good point. I have just always been drawn to girl names ending in A, probably for the reasons that @annna7602 mentioned.
But I also agree with cricketwife that "Willa" doesn't really work in Spanish. It would be "wee-yah"? While I am envisioning "Will-ah"
The Spanish thing is not an absolute must, but it would be my preference. I doubt DH's list is going to be as global.
your name picking process sounds so complicated to me though!
Haha. It makes sense to us, but I am probably explaining it poorly.
What was happening was I would throw out names and DH would veto them all without offering any options of his own. So this way, he gets to think through the process and offer some suggestions as well!

I love Camilla, Willa and Cora. Have you talked about names at all to know his style preference? I just wonder if any of these will be on his list.
We just threw out names and picked the one and only one we could agree on . I love my dd's name but it was not my first choice. My H likes common and awful names imo lol.

Only a tiny bit. He likes Sophia and Ava and Lucy (which are all super popular), but having two completely different lists is very much possible and why we each have to pick 5 from the other list.
I have no business using spanish names, but I love Pilar and Caridad. Neither end in a, haha.
I love you even more now. DD's mn is Caridad and Pilar is high on our list for possible DD #2. Pilar is the name I referred to above that would be familiar to an English speaker, but could likely be butchered anyway.
I love them all. I also tried them all with your last name and they all sound great. Lucia is one of my favorite names, but my H doesn't like it. Seriously, great list!

Because you like Willa, would you consider Pippa? Or too trendy? I like Elena and Cora from your list. I love Willa but only pronounced the English way.
When DH and I started brainstorming names, he got lists of every Gaelic/Irish name from every baby naming website he could find (as this was our criteria for a first name). He imported them into Excel, sorted out duplicates, and made columns for each of us to mark names we liked. Then we used the sorting function to see what names each other picked, did the same veto round you are doing, and then got down to the final list of names we both liked... your system sounds super simple and smart to me!
My hands-down favorite from your list is Lucia. I also like Cora and Elena.
People (okay drloretta and littlespitfire), your insistence on Pilar is reinforcing my will to continue insisting on this one. My only basis for arguing that English-speakers can handle it is Hemingway. Now I can say "my internet friends like it, too."

My boy names are all over the place and not very Spanish. For whatever reason I have always focused more on girl names (I guess that worked out well) I really like OT Biblical names. Obviously this is a long list because I had no need to edit it down.
