We are having a little girl. DH has proposed a system for coming up with her name.
Round 1: We each have to (separately and secretly) make a list of 15 girl names that we like.
Then we compare the lists.
Round 2: New list composed of any matches between our lists, plus DH picks 5 names from my list, plus I pick 5 names from his list.
Then I guess we just discuss and debate the new list. Can you tell we anticipated some disagreement?
Anyway, here is my current working/draft list. Last name is 2 syllables and not overly complicated.
Ada Camila Carina Celia Cora Daniela Elena Lara Lucia Louisa Naomi Paloma Sofia Susannah Willa
Middle name options are all family names, although I'm leaning towards Joy to match mom. Ada, Alma, Hazel, Joy, Linda, Louise, Cynthia. I don't think we have to include middle names on our lists at this point though.
Anything that stands out to you? Any names you think might fit my style that I am missing? Or just want to tell me your favorite girl names? Or tell me you hate all my names?

Congrats on your girl! We seem to have similar tastes in girl names since many of those were names I really liked but DH nixed all of them (we went with Alexandra, which was practically the only girl name either of us proposed that the other spouse didn't hate). I like most of these names but I especially love Camila (though I prefer the "Camilla" spelling unless you intend to pronounce it "Kuh-MEE-la"?), Carina and Louisa.
Congrats on your baby girl! I really like Ada, Lucia, and Ceila from your list. The only thing with Lucia though is how do you like Lucy as a nickname? I bet she'd get a lot of people calling her that as she gets older...I also like Cora but I think its popularity is trending upwards quickly. Not sure if that bothers you or not.
We have some overlap, so I feel like I'm not allowed to comment! Although on my list, I use the spellings Karina and Luisa.
Camila and Sofia are super, super, super popular here among the bilingual moms crowd. I'm putting that out there in case this matters to you.
I am definitely not using Lara. It is too close to my niece's name. So, for objectivity's sake, I would vote for Lara on your list because it's beautiful and not used much. It also sounds great in several languages.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. My family is Hispanic and baby will likely be going to an immersion daycare, so most of the pronunciations would be phonetic/Spanish.
I have an Ada so of course I like that! I also have a Wilhelmina & my FAV nickname of that is Willa...it's so cute but I couldn't use it as its rhymey with our last name (so she goes by Winnie). I also really like Carina & Louisa from your list!! I've considered both those in the past. I feel like Sophia is WAY overplayed. My adorable niece is Naomi & her moms name is Joy. Overall I love them. Good luck!!

My BFF's husband is Hispanic. They used Willa and it suits their daughter perfectly. It seems like the perfect name for a girl with that particular heritage. So that gets my vote!

In my head, your daughters are named Jo, Beth, Meg and Amy.
But seriously, I do wonder what their actual names are. DH and I feel like we used the one and only girls' name we both truly loved and agreed on with DD. Coming up with more girls' names this time is a challenge. There are tons of names that I like for various reasons, but I haven't had the "OMG, this is THE ONE" moment I had with DD's name. Will I ever feel this way again about another girl's name? Am I looking for love in all the wrong places?

The one thing that stands out to me is all your names end with a except for one. I might try to think of a few other options that sound a little different.

I can think of very, very few names that sound good in both English and Spanish that don't end with a. We have only two on our list, and those are both kind of cheating. One is technically a French name that can be reasonably pronounced in Spanish & English and the other is a very Spanish name that is familiar enough to English speakers that they probably wouldn't butcher it (but still might).

Susannah was in our top 3 but we had a boy. I loveit. Also love willa if pronounced. With a short I. Would Spanish speakers say weela? The one Carina I know irl is Carinya (cant do a tilde on my kindle)-in the Spanish speaking community. Does that matter toyou?
Great name list, and very similar to some of our choices. DD is Lucia and we call her Lucy (middle name Jane). Here is the post I made when we were finalizing a name: pandce.proboards.com/thread/180218/baby-name-day
From your list, I really like Ada, Cora, Lucia, and Sofia.
By the way, our current system is: discuss names with each other, agree on some, present them to DD and have her reject them. Start all over again, keeping the tops ones in reserve to ask DD again in a month or so.
It's a good thing we have about 5 months left and a 50% chance of having a boy.
I love Elena. It was what I wanted to name DS1 if he was a girl. I love that it's found in some many corners of the world. Lucia (well Lucinda) nn Lucy was a family name on our short lists as well. What about Anna?
