I just busted open a bag of Cadbury Mini Eggs (don't ask) and they smell exactly like the Chocolate Bar palette. Now I know why I love the smell so much.

It did not smell like Cadbury eggs in my Sephora!
God, I want some Cadbury eggs right now. I will hold off until Monday, when they are on sale, therefore leaving more money for the makeups.

Have you guys heard about the Ben Nye Banana Powder? Apparently Kim Kardashian uses it for her contouring. I heard about it from our friends who own the costume store. They're constantly running out of it, but couldn't figure out what it was used for. I'm proud of myself that I randomly stumbled upon the answer a few days ago. It's supposed to work on all skin tones.
Apparently all of the Ben Nye face powder is good for setting your foundation. I've never really thought about using it as regular makeup, other than setting my lipstick with the powder I used for my halloween makeup. Nothing moves an inch when I set my makeup that way.

I use the yellow elf powder, which is supposed to be a really decent dupe.

it's super good for toning down red.
The Ben Nye powder is cheaper than the ELF stuff. You might be better off looking for a local supplier. Plus, supporting local businesses and all that.

Ok, so CYY ... Is it just my husbands love for deeper pinks and reds or is it not good. I am positive I look better in other colors, which is why I'm having a hard time judging if I can pull it off.

I think you can pull it off but I would experiment with cooler eye colors with it.
I need to come back here and review my latest purchases, my issues with UD eyeliner and primer, and show my many varied looks as of late. I'm embarrassed at the number of selfies on my phone. Lol
So, I was able to meet my BFF this morning for a walk to pick up the Chocolate Bar Palette. I went for a walk with a full face of make-up. I tried a new look with the It Cosmetics palette that I loved. Went to the movies after and wore a persimmon colored shirt so I wore the Purty persimmon lipstick. The whole thing together, I thought, looked great. I wish I had taken a picture. Also, the Jergens BB lotion looks good in sunlight and holds up to sweating. It doesn't rub off on clothes. A+ on that stuff.
Tonight before my shower I took one eye's makeup off and tried out the Chocolate Bar. It is great! Definitely glad I bought it and am excited to try other looks.

I agree! I did not like it at first, but trying different eyeshadow and different shirts helped. I also think that it's one you have to get used to.

I know! Lol, if you go through my photos there are about 0 pics of me for most of them, then all my recent pics are littered with selfies. So embarrassing!
