UD 24/7 eyeliner: This stuff is a hit or miss with melting off, so I won't be buying it again. I will be on the lookout for other eyeliner if anyone has specific recs. What stays: LSD (sparkly teal), Vice (purple), Zero (almost black), Smoke (grey). What melts off: Perversion (black), Demolition (brown), Sabbath (navy).
UD Eye Primer: I have been having issues with very, very dry skin around my eye area. It's been painfully dry and irritated, and my fine lines/wrinkles look worse, plus shimmer shadow looks shitty. I narrowed it down to using my Tarte 12 hr BB tinted moisturizer treatment (aka schizophrenic named BB cream) on my area. I quit using that and just started using my UD original eye primer sample that came with all of Naked/Electric palettes on my eyes.
When I ran out of the original, I tested first Sin (wowsers with the shimmer bronze look). This would be fine if I was doing a shimmer eye all over, but rarely do that. I switched to the Eden sample (long wearing) and my eyelids became painfully dry again after 2 days, and my shadow would not blend. I switched to the anti-aging and it feels the most moisturizing of the 4 options. So I will be sticking with original or anti-aging, and take care when choosing a primer since I think I have naturally dry eyelids.
Brushes I cannot live without: UD Optical Blurring - Hands down the best brush for foundation, blending/contouring, blush application, powder. I need about 3 more of them. Real Techniques Expert Face Brush - This is like a shorter stiffer version of my beloved UD brush. I use it for stippling and blending blush. RT Deluxe Crease Brush - This does an incredible job with applying shadow in the crease and outer V...for large application. Japonesque Pro Eye Shadow Crease Brush - This is perfect to use for smaller application in the crease and very outer V. Japonesque Smudger Brush (prof. length) - This is my favorite brush to make a smudged eye liner effect with eyeshadow
I still need to find a favorite eye shadow brush and eye shadow blending brush. I have several options, but none of them I pick up consistently because I love them.
Cargo Beach Blush in Echo Beach and Cargo matte contour bronzer: The bronzer is working well for contouring, but it's a tad on the orange side for me. I can make it work, but I don't think it's perfect. The Cargo Blush will be perfect for this summer. It's a bit too bronze/shimmer for spring.
The IT Palette is my absolute favorite palette. Every color looks fantastic on me and every color seems to blend well with the others. So many options! I also love that it's matte, but has a light shimmer white color that I can put on last to change the look completely. I use this palette more often than my N2 or N3.
Cargo Lipstick in Bordeaux: Beautiful color, but OMG it's almost black on me. It's so stark I will need sometime to adjust. I had to add some pink over the top to brighten it up. It stays put ok, but not as well as my Stila liquid lipstick or UD lipstick.
POP cat Eyeliner in Blazing Blue: This is the prettiest bright blue color. I like the shape of the eyeliner (flat rectangle) because it helps make a great cat eye. I still want a good navy blue eyeliner.
Revlon Color Burst Just bitten Balm Stain: I like this as an alternative for lip gloss and on the go lipstick. It is fairly pigmented, stains my lips ok, and easy to apply. It's isn't long wearing and requires continual reapplication. That's okay for days I don't want to wear lipstick, but want color without stickiness of lip gloss.
I really want to pick up some of the Revlon color burst Matte balm - I swiped them on my hand and they stayed put, even through a shower. I did buy a Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm in Inegenue for a nude lip. I like the color and I struggle with nude lips because I am a love of bright, bold lips.
NYX stick blush in Magnolia (bright, light pink) and Tulip (true pink): I LOVE these. The color is very pigmented and they stay put. I blend with RT Expert Face Brush.
Okay and now for some selfies. I might be able to give you the run down on what exactly I did if you want to know.
Today's look: UD Electric Orange, Naked 2 Browns, NYX Magnolia blush, Revlon Ingenue lip balm. Hairstyle using thesmallthings blog french braid side bun tutorial.
Yesterday's look: UD Electric teal with IT palette grey/purple. Revlon lipstain in bright pink.
A week ago? UD Elecrtric hot pink and orange mixed. Tarte lip gloss.
week and half ago? UD electric bright blue on top as eyeliner and hot pink on bottom. Revlon lip stain in pink.
My first IT palette look, but with glasses
Used POP blue eyeliner, ETA: Stila lip stain:
My birthday with Stila bright pink liquid lipstick and smokey eye using N2. I wish I had gotten a better picture of my makeup, because I felt proud of my smokey eye. (Dress is from urbanoutfitters and was the dress I posted in the What have you bought recently thread.)
And I don't know what's up with my hair looking so red in all these photos. I swear it's just brown...my hair pulls a lot of copper in certain lights though.
Didn't someone mention the MAC LE lipstick "Head in the Clouds" in here recently? I went and picked it up yesterday (after saying I was DONE buying makeup)... I love it. It's the first lipstick in AGES that doesn't turn my lips into a dry, nasty mess, it lasts through EVERYTHING, and it's a fabulous color. One of the other LEs was a good substitute for CYY if you don't want to go quite so bright... Toying Around, maybe? It was bright, but cute.

I am planning an early May Sephora purchase. The only reason I am waiting until then is because that is when my Sephora 10% off VIB coupon expires, and I want to wait until the last minute to redeem it as my list keeps getting longer every day.
Also, the amount of time I have spent this weekend looking at NARS eyeshadow online is embarrassing.
We've concluded that UD's black liner sucks. What's good? I hear good things about MAC but I would like an item available at Sephora (where I have a coupon) or Ulta (for when I finally pull the afterglo trigger and need things to get to free shipping).
Has anyone tried Tarte's?
Is there a drugstore liner that won't end up all over within 1 hour?

I have a 7-inch eye liner pencil that cost $0.97. I want to say it's NYC brand; I got it at Target. It's cheap as hell and doesn't do too well on my eye by itself because I have oily lids. However, if I use primer, then line with the pencil after applying my shadow, and then cover the liner with a line of black (or very dark) eye shadow powder using my smudge brush, it lasts all day. If you are willing to do the powder on top, it might be worth spending a dollar to see if it works for you. Given that it's about twice the length of a typical pencil, it's one hell of a bargain, presuming it works for you.

I wore the NYX's two timer nearly everyday last week, no smudging or budging.
I really like my Stila Stay All Day liquid liner. I can leave it on overnight and it is still there in the morning. And the felt tip makes it easy to apply.
Pencil, but I'm intrigued by Tarte's giant pot of liner, amazonian clay something or other.
But I'm totally going to check out the drug store kind because as long as it doesn't smear, liner is liner.
Also, how does one know if their lids are oily? It's not something I've ever considered before. I have freakishly dry eye balls (eye bright does not budge off my waterline even after hours of wear) but with the exception of my new UD liners, I have always had liner problems.

If you wore eye shadow without primer, would your shadow crease? If I don't use primer, my shadow is a mess after six hours or so, creased and faded. If it's humid out, mine probably won't even last that long.
ETA: unrelated to oiliness, but does your lash line touch your upper lid when your eyes are open? This is more likely to cause liner to fade/rub off on your upper lid. If my eyes are puffy from eating salt the night before, this happens to me.
I bought the Sigma Jaclyn Hill box set of brushes. I'm pretty excited. With the brushes I have, these will be a nice addition without having too many duplicate types.
I was looking at those earlier. I would have been tempted if I didn't already own several of the brushes.

To be honest, I have no idea what creasing means, and google image search has not been particularly helpful in determining if I do. It definitely looked like a hot mess after a little while with the drugstore stuff, but ever since learning the word two months ago, I regularly inspect my makeup to see if it creases so I can know what it is.
I think this probably means I don't crease. But I haven't tried a variety of activities without primer since February, and there's no humidity here.
And I've definitely never had my lashes touch my upper lid. They are short. That is why I'm a They're Real user for life now. Even with other fancy mascaras I've tried, they look so stubby.

Have you tried creme liner? It's easy to use. Bobbi Brown is the best, Sephora and Loreal HIP are both good. I don't like the Smashbox Creme liner.
I also like the marker type liners. Smashbox and Stilla are both good.

Did you end up with the N3? the primer samples card that shows the with/without comparison shows creasing. Basically, the shadow falls off all areas of the eye and settles into thick lines of shadow. I can end up with bare areas and then lines of clump.
Creasing is where the eyeshadow looks like it sort of disappeared from the top and bottom of your eyelid and collects in a line of color along the crease.
