5 people in our house... we do on average 2 loads a day. DH puts loads in and changes to the dryer when he takes the dogs out via the basement.... I fold and put away.
So, about 14 loads/week. It's never ending.
we don't dry clean much ... maybe once/month or so we pick up a large load from the drycleaner, but we try to limit it.
Whites/Sheets Darks Colors Duvet Cover/Blanket Towels Dog Bed Duvets (twice a month)
Looks like 5-6 loads per week. We only dry clean once a month, if that, and it's usually just a few items, like my work suit jackets and a couple of shirts I don't feel like ironing.
Usually 2-3 loads of regular laundry and 2-3 loads of diapers.
We dry clean nothing. 2 adults and 1 baby. We are big slackers and don't do sheets that often and use the same towel for a week (hand towels are changed every day or two).
I do about 10 loads per week sometimes more. However, we have a teeny tiny washing machin. It fits 3 towels or one sheet at a time. (you can add a few clothes with the sheet, but not both sheets). I wash the baby's clothes every time she wears them because she is a mess and she often changes in the middle of the day. All my H work clothes are dry clean but he still has undershirts and boxers.
We have 6 people and I do laundry just about every day. I would guess 10+ loads per week. I thought it would be better in the summer, but we have been going to the pool a lot and the towels are what's killing me now. I swear the kids find a way to soak a towel so that it feels like they swam with the thing in the water! They have to be washed every time. During the school year, I will have 3 in sports so there is just no break from the dirty clothes.
I do 6-7 per week for me, DH and DD(13). This includes towels, linens, etc. We don't do a ton of dry cleaning, just suits and delicates (silk, cashmere, etc).
When DH starts his new job next week I expect to be dry cleaning more frequently as he has a stricter dress code and there is no way I am ironing dress shirts. If I let him do it, we'd be buying new ones weekly. Dry cleaning is much more MM
We do probably 7-8 loads a week. 3 cloth diaper loads, 1 baby load, 3-4 loads of our own stuff. I dryclean my dress pants, but most everything else goes in the wash.
There are 6 of us 4 kids. I do 2-3 a day if I don' t it takes me a while to catch up. Once a week I do sheet' s and towels probably every 3 days. I very rarely dry clean last time I did it was Christmas time.
I just do for DH and myself. ( SS is here eow and brings his clothes from home and takes them home dirty...but I do his sheets and towels) I do 8-10 loads a week. We rarely have things dry cleaned
DH and I each change into something else after work, plus I work out after work so thats 3 outfits for me per day. It adds up quickly!
Do those of you who do sheets every week only have one set?
No, we have 3 sets and I have been lazily looking for a 4th. However, I like all the sets being clean and in the linen closet for whenever I want/need to change them. Sheets & towels are the only laundry I care about being put away.
I guess not that many. I have a bunch of hampers going, but only do a load when they fill up. There are four of us.
sheets (1x per week) girls clothes (1x per week) whites (as needed, usu 2x per mo) darks (as needed, 1x per week) delicates (as needed, 1x per week) towels (2x/mo - we have a ton of towels)

we do lots of laundry
Towels, whites, delicate light, delicate dark, colors, underwear load plus I normally have sheets or a comforter or something that got soiled by either one of the two kiddos or two dogs
About 3-4 loads of clothes and one load of towels a week. Two loads of sheets every other week. Averages out to 5 or 6 loads a week. It's me, DH, and two small kids. Most of our work clothes are dry clean only.
