My standby for a long time was either a drive-thru latte and oatmeal, or a WW english muffin with PB and a banana. Portable, fast, easy. But not low carb. My ass is rushing out the door in the morning, and so portable/fast/easy is key.
most mornings i do an omelet and toast. i do a boiled omelet, so i don't have to stand over and watch it. whip two eggs, mix in spinach, tomato, feta, mushrooms, red onion (i chop and prep mix-ins the night before,) pour into ziplock baggie, toss in boiling water for 10-12 minutes. super easy.
DH occassionally has a egg thing - toss some fine diced bell pepper, shredded spinach, salt, pepper, diced canadian bacon, shredded cheese into a container, add a scrambled egg, stir and microwave. We could prep 2-3 of the containers (without egg) at a time, and he would add the egg and zap it in the morning for a quick breakfast.

Nothing that will be helpful. Today was oatmeal with raisins and nuts. But sometimes I do an english muffin w/cheese, butter, or peanutbutter, or a bagel. Fruit and some milk

if you have a ramkin you can also mix it all in there and pop it in the microwave for a minute.
String cheese, protein shake, nut and fruit bar, bananas, grapes, crustless quiche (pre-made), pre-made breakfast burritos (you can put them in a low carb tortilla and freezer them)

I'm lazy. I eat a Clif Builder's Bar. Mint chocolate is my favorite. Sometimes I have a small glass of milk with it. They are a lot of calories at 270, but with 20g of protein, I'm full until lunch time.
Plain greek yogurt and some fruit. Usually it's been Dole frozen mango chunks that by the time I get to work and am ready to eat after the gym, they are perfectly defrosted.
If I don't eat eggs, I get really cranky. But I want to get back to working out in the mornings.
So to save time, I made an egg casserole last night and portioned it out. 2 minutes in the microwave this morning, and I was enjoying coffee & eggs on my balcony. Eggs, 1/2 & 1/2, chorizo, corn tortillas sauteed in a little oil, cheese, salt & pepper. The way I made it is not low-cal at all, but it did keep me full for a long time today.
When H goes back to Costco next weekend, I'll have him grab some Canadian bacon or some chicken sausages and will do a slightly lighter version.

I am now scared to tell you how many calories my breakfast was.

Instant oatmeal and turkey bacon in the AM for me. We get the weight control type because it has 7 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber. Maple is my fav, and they have a variety pack with Banana Bread, Maple & Brown Sugar and Cinnamon. Dump it in a bowl, I add some raisins and a dash of cinnamon then around 2/3 cup milk and in the microwave for 2 minutes. You could put it in a to go container if you want.
Then turkey bacon - 2 slices on a paper towel in the microwave for 2 minutes.
If I have extra time, I'll peel and dice an apple and microwave that for 2 minutes first, then add the oatmeal, toppings and milk.
My microwave gets a workout in the morning. That keeps me full from 7:30 until around 1pm.
CloudBee, I really like the apple maple chicken mini links. They sell them at our Costco. They are very flavorful, and H actually prefers them to pork sausage.
I like hard- boiled eggs and turkey breakfast sausage.
Does turkey sausage taste similar to traditional breakfast sausage? Is it still pretty well seasoned?
I hate turkey burger and things of that nature, but I really can't tell a major difference between turkey sausage and pork sausage. I think the spices drown out the turkey flavor.
So many good suggestions! I have been so carb-heavy for breakfast most of my life, I couldn't think of anything past eggs. I don't think I could eat eggs every single day.
