The yolk is where all the nutrients are. The whites provide most of the protein, but you're not getting much nutrition from them.
Yes, but one egg is approx 80 calories. If she's counting calories, whole eggs add up fast. If her goal is protein, she can easily eat the whites to increase her protein and save calories for other nutrient dense foods. Foods that may be more appealing to her.

Thanks. I am interested in the protein. I actually would have guessed it was in the yolk, lol.
Glad to know I can just scarf down the whites if I want. Thanks.

I think something must be off. I got bloodwork on Friday during a physical. I may need vitamin D or a B12 complex or something.
My doctor said that daily vitamins are a waste and not to bother.
OMG, this reminded me that I had a dream last night that
TRIGGER WARNING: PARASITE MENTION AHEAD * * * * * I found 2 ticks on me and that's why I was feeling so tired all the time. I got one off with no problem but the 2nd one left his head in my skin. Thanks Bondi Vet!

YES!! I was just coming in here to say this! It might've been on your precious (was trying to say previous but typo seems fitting) reccomendation Kevin, b/c it's something I think I read on here & just started within the past year or 2. Anyway, YES- now I feel like my tuna (ha!) is missing something w/out a HB egg. I usually only add 1/2 the yolk for calorie purposes (shut it- I add mayo to my tuna salad!), but absolutely recommend!
